Have you ever seen a face in the bushes? It's leafy brow and thorny features lost as soon as you see them as you walk by. The clouds in the atmosphere dance into shapes we identify differently, a cat, a man, or a hand. Perspective is something we encounter everyday whether we acknowledge it or not. For every person, their perspective is different, "Blue is the best color, even the brightest of turquoise"... "No, red is the best, the passion in it cannot be matched".... In something so simple as color we cannot help but create opinions based on perspective. So when it comes to even bigger things like politics bias seems unavoidable. But this broken country cannot be fixed if it's people are torn like this. There will always be red and blue but we don't have to kill, destroy, hate, and bicker like children to get your point across, to have your opinion heard. Why can't we work to solve issues we all see together? Why do we have to isolate ourselves from the other? The people call for unity, what are YOU doing to give it to them? Red and blue are important, they decide the future of this country but it's people; it's foundation, it's future lawyers, doctors, construction workers, accountants, garbage men, dispite their color bias should be working together uphold the country. The president is important, the Cabinet, Senete, House of Representatives, all of them are important, but the people of this country, the great people who don't run the country but keep this country running, they are the ones that MAKE the government listen, that make the voices heard. How will the people of this nation get anything done if we are at each other's throats? If even for the most important issues, issues we agree cannot stand we will not rally together, we will not WORK together. Great people of the United States of America, if you see an issue, call it out. If you want something changed, change it. Rosa Parks was just a normal citizen before she saw an issue and pointed it out, if someone so normal can change the course of this country what is keeping you from doing the same? Great people of the United States of America, stand together, stand united so that our title isn't a lie.
