Emma and Nick picked me and Melody up for the airport. Melody was off for a few weeks so she came back with me to spend Halloween together, the four of us. It was currently Thursday and Halloween was this Saturday. My fashion show was about 3 days ago, and to say how surreal the opportunity was would be an understatement.
As we arrived at the house, it was early enough that we could relax before going out to dinner later, like a mini welcome home night out. Emma, Nick, and I sat down on the couches in the living room, whereas Melody wanted to nap in her/guest bedroom.
"Alright, tell us all about it!" Nick said as I began to fill them in on my experience. I told them how amazing everyone at the show was, how nice everyone was, what it felt like, who I met, and so on.
"So Hardin Scott? Details!" Emma said, practically screeching with excitement, while Nick rolled his eyes.
"He was extremely nice and very funny."
"More importantly, how is deep daddy Corpse?" Nick said with a smirk, whereas Emma rolled her eyes this time at the unofficial nickname Nick has given the man.
"Honestly, I don't know. I haven't talked to him since the night of my show. The only time I've heard his voice was in Rae's streams." I said, trying to hide the sadness in my voice.
"What! He what! I swear! No!" Nick practically shouting, jumping up from the couch. I just tried my hardest to sink further into the cushions.
"He ghosted you! That man has the nerve to ghost you! Oh no! He messed with the wrong Cherry cause now he has to deal with me!" Nick said practically pacing up and down between the couch pieces.
"Nick, stop! Let's think of something. Why would he just ghost you like that?" Emma spoke, turning her body to completely face me. I just shrugged and stayed quiet.
"Because he is an-" Nick started to be cut off by Melody slamming her bedroom door and walking towards us.
"Because Cherry was being hit on by a Brit and instead of talking to her, he just did what any male does and ghosts the girl. All men are stupid, especially my twin brother," Melody spoke, sitting on the couch next to me, glaring at her overly dramatic twin. He just looked at her with his mouth wide open, clearly offended.
