Six months later.....

After what happened with Jiyeon, she was charged with involuntary assault but the court felt that she was deemed fit to go to jail, so she was placed in a medical facility to spend her life there.

The other members of her group were also booked and charged for assisting her with her scheme. They also did a pregnancy test and found out that she was never pregnant.

It was a sigh of relief to everyone but they still felt that she would have been better if she had gone to jail. Right now they just wanted Jiyeon to get the help that she needed.

It was the last day of summer vacation and soon Jongup would be heading off to college. He was extremely happy that he was able to get into his first choice, so as a present to himself he decided to go to the same place that he and Mia went to before he broke up with her.

It was the only place that he felt truly happy. He walked out to the beach and sat comfortably on the sand as he watched the waves flow back and forth. The breeze felt good as it kissed his face. He couldn't think of any other place he would rather be at the moment.

He brought his legs up so he could rest his chin as he wrapped his arms around his legs. He grounded his feet into the sand as he scooped it up. He sighed softly as the memories of the past ring forth in his mind.

Just then a body sat down next to him. The person let out a deep sigh as they scooped up sand and allowing it to stream out of their hand. Jongup moved his head to the side watching the person. "You know I honestly could not understand what she sees in you," the deep voice said.

Jongup chuckled as he turned his head back out to sea. He wondered the same thing too. But doubt about it he was happy when he was with her. "It was just something special about her that drew me to her and she made me happy when I was around her. Whenever I was feeling down, Mia was there to make any negative feeling go away."

Youngguk nodded to what Jongup had said. He also felt the same way when he met Mia as well. Her positive light removed any negative energy making you feel warm when she was around.

At that moment, Jongup reached into his pocket and pulled out Mia's phone. He stared at the screen for a moment before handed it over to Youngguk. "Here you go," he started off saying.

Puzzled by the item, Youngguk stare at the device that Jongup was given to him. "It's Mia's, I have already transferred the videos and photos over to my phone. I think it would be better if it goes back into her family's hand."

With one move Youngguk pushed the phone back to Jongup. "No, you should keep it. My father gave it to you for a reason and that's for you to give it back to her. And you should, Jongup. The old me would have taken it from you but now, you should give it back to her."

Jongup moved the phone back in front of him as he glanced down. The only thing that he wishes to see is Mia before he left but he wasn't so sure since he hadn't heard anything about her status or the baby's as well. Today was his last day in town before he headed off to college.

He exhaled nodding his head. "Well I'm off, I have to finish packing," he told Jongup. "I know that with us things started rocky but you seem to now have leveled out. Stay strong."

Youngguk patted Jongup's shoulder as he got up from the sand and dust off his pants before turning to walk away. He walked back to the vehicle that he arrived in.

With another deep sigh, Jongup brought the phone back in front of him. He pressed it on and went back to the same video that he has been watching for almost a year.

"Mia..." he said softly to himself just as the sun starts to set.

Early that next morning, Jongup was packing his last bit of belongings that he was going to take with him to college. Every so often he would hear the annoying rambling of his brother asking him if he had everything in which he would yell out a yes.

"Are you sure?" he asked.

Throwing down the last bag, Jongup turned to his brother. "When did you become so concerned about my well-being?"

Youngjae was taken back by Jongup's question. He just shrugged it off walking away to where their father was.

Jongup laughed softly as he headed out to his vehicle. Outside was his father, he was putting in the last bag that Jongup had brought out before he noticed another bag in Jongup's hand. He places a hand on his waist while shaking his head. "Jongup, you act like you're leaving and never coming back. You will see us at Christmas," he stated.

"I know but you can't be too prepared." he tossed the last bag into the truck before slamming it down. He turned back to his father and both men hesitated to hug each other.

An awkward laugh came out of Mr. Moon until Youngjae became annoyed and threw his hands over his father and brother's shoulder. "All will be fine," he cheerfully says to them.

Finally, the tension disappeared and an enjoyable laugh broke through. "Well it's time for me to hit the road, "Jongup acknowledged slapping his hands together.

He slid into his vehicle staring back at his father and brother who he could see in his visor. He exhaled deeply before starting the vehicle and pulling out of the driveway to head to college.

The drama that had occurred had finally ceased but a part of still ache to see Mia.

He puts the car into drive and headed out of the neighborhood as the sun peaks its head from the clouds.
