AC POV-

In this chapter, they will be referred to as Annabeth, Percy, and Grover, because the older version of them is not around.

I couldn't believe Luke would do this. All my life, I had trusted him, he promised me family. Now, he left me, he left camp. I wanted to cry.

"It-it's alright Annabeth," Percy said, he must've noticed my heartbreak. Or my tears, which I had just now noticed. I wiped them away and sniffled a bit.

"We gotta keep moving," Grover said. He was now infront of us, hobbling on his crutches. He was still trying to disguise himself to be a teen, even if we were on a quest and he was half goat.

"Coming!" Percy called. Grover ducked behind bushes and put a finger to his lips.

"Sorry," Percy mouthed. He took a seat next to Grover. I followed close behind and also took a seat. I peaked over to see what Grover was so afraid of. I saw Percy do the same, but he looked unfazed.

"What are those things?" He asked.

"Those are furies," I replied, my voice rattled in fear.

"Let's kill them then," Percy stated as if it were obvious. I looked at him questioningly.

"You can't just kill them!" I scolded. Grover nodded in agreement.

"I killed that one last month though," he pointed at Alecto. I was startled. He killed a fury?!

"He did! I saw it! But Percy, we can't kill all three!" Grover stated.

"I'm sure future us did at some point."

"But we're not future us! Not yet!" I argued. Percy huffed and sat back down. I sat next to him.

"Umm... guys?"

"What Grover?" I asked.

"I think they heard us," he pulled out a can and bit into it. I looked over the bush. Grover was right, they were coming our way.

"Great job Percy, you got them to come towards us!" I scolded.

"Oh, so now it's my fault!" He argued.

"Let's just kill them then," I mocked his voice.

"You're impossible!"

"You're insufferable!"

"You're-"

"Hey!" Grover interrupted, "you two are giving me a migraine, and satyrs don't even get migraines! I can't believe you two even date in the future."

"I can't believe it either," I stated, "I don't know what's wrong with future me. Who would want to date this s-" I caught myself. I was about to say seaweed brain. That's what future me called him, I couldn't do that. "-idiot."

"I'm not too happy about it either, Wi-." H also stopped short. I knew what he was about to say, and if he would've said it, I might've used him as bait against the enemy. I still might actually.

"Where are they?" A voice hissed. I knew soon our position would soon be compromised. I pulled out my dagger, Percy his sword, and Grover his pipes. We stood up at the same time and prepared for the attack.

Mwahahaha! Cliffhanger! Yet again! Don't worry, I will make a part two for this before I make the other chapters.

Also, next chapter, they won't completely hate each other, maybe. I will probably start their friendship in it actually.
