Chapter 11 : Harry sick

I started driving like crazy, Liam is so nervous, I can see his hands shacking.

"Li, talk to me! what's going on? what's wrong with Harry " I asked while taking a short cut to Harry's house.

"He is so sick, he said that his temperature is 40c, and he can't walk or stand or even sit on his own, I'm so scared" Liam voice was cracking.

"It's okay Li, he will be alright. Don't panic." I tried to calm him down, but I was shivering with fear myself, I never saw Li this scared before. It must be serious.

"We are going to enter from the back door, so take the next exit on your right, then turn left" Liam ordered, and I did as I was told until we reach the back door, Liam directly jumped out of the car and opened the door with a key he has, I didn't know that he has the keys for Harry's house, I didn't know that he and harry were this close actually, I know that he loves Harry but come on, give him the keys to his house ? I know it's not the time for me to overthink stuff and I need to get in and help Li but I can't help it, I overthink everything.

I went inside and I can hear Liam's voice in the second floor, I went up and reached Harry's bedroom, my heart broke once I saw him, he looks so weak and vulnerable , his face is all red and pale, he is sweating a lot and shivering like a Jello cube, I can feel his temperature From across the room. Poor thing!

Liam was Lifting the cover off of him as he told me to get a cold water with a cloth to place it on Harry's forehead until he changes his clothes, I directly went downstairs to the kitchen, I search for the medicine cabinet and took a fever reducer from it, I went back to the kitchen and took an ice bag and placed it in a bowl with the cloth, I found some oranges on the counter so I took some and made him an orange juice, he must have been dehydrated and needs fluids, I fill a cup with water then I put everything on a tray, I tried to take my time preparing this stuff to give them some privacy before going upstairs.

When I walked in, Harry was sleeping on the couch with a new pajamas and Liam was changing the bed sheets, I think that harry was sweating to the point where his bed sheets were drowned.

I went to Harry's side and started squeezing the cloth and put it in his forehead. His fever is very high. I can feel it by only sitting next to him. I made him sit down and gave him the fever reducer then let him lay back again, in the meanwhile, Liam finished setting up the bed so we took Harry back to his bed and we made him sit down.

I know he is so tried and all he wants to do is to sleep but we can't risk anything, I want him to stay awake and drink the orange juice to remains hydrated.

"I can't!" Harry cried.

"Come on babe! You need to drink it to feel better" Li's soothed while holding the cloth on Harry's forehead. I can't help but to smile when I heard Liam saying babe to Harry.

Liam adjusted his position and placed his back against the wall so he could put Harry on his lap, Harry directly put his head on Liam's chest and his tears started dripping on his cheeks. I pointed to Li and he wiped Harry's tears with his palm.

"Ohh baby !! come on! you're stronger than this! don't make me see you cry again! You know that I hate to see those tears!" Liam squeezed Harry's hand.

"I'm so tired Li" Harry's voice was cracking just like my heart.

"I know, love! But I want you to try and drink it for me" Liam rubbed Harry's head.

"I will go get a straw, it will be easier to drink it using a straw" I suggested and went to the kitchen to search for a straw.

"yeah, she's amazing" I heard Li saying when I got back, I ignored it and pretended like I didn't hear a thing.

Harry was able to drink the Juice then he went back to sleep, his head was on Li's chest and he was holding his hand, even when he was asleep, the tears kept falling down from his eyes.

"Poor thing, he's crying in his sleep" I snapped.

"he is so tired! it's breaking my heart, I don't know how he managed to make himself reach this state" Liam said as he checked Harry's temperature. "it's still the same" he added

"let's wait sometime until the medicine take its effect" I said.

It's been 30 minutes and his fever is the same.

"Li, we need to take him to a hospital, he is so sick, and his fever is very high. I don't want anything bad to happen to him" I snapped.

"I can't be seen with him in public." Liam was worried.

"Liam, are you seriously thinking about this right now !!! he is your FRIEND and he is so sick and your telling me that you can't be seen with him ??? are you fu*king kidding me!" I scolded him, then I saw tears in his eyes and I immediately felt bad for him.

"it's not that, you won't understand" he said as he run his fingers in Harry's hair.

"Try me!" I replied.

"it's not about a fu*king contract or a condition that I must follow, it's about Harry and ..... louis" he hesitated before adding louis.

"you know Li, this is not the time, Harry is so tired. I will take him by myself. In case we were photographed together, we can always say that we were working on something and he got really sick during it" I put my hands on Li's shoulder, "don't freak out! I will do my best to keep him safe and away from any paparazzi, I know that you don't want louis to know that you were here, and Harry is sick" I added.

"Thank you!" he said.

"come on now, help me take him downstairs and put him in my car, we also need a blanket to keep him warm, he is still shivering" I said as I opened the cabinet to search for a blanket, I saw a pink blanket and immediately recognized it as the her blanket, which matches Louis's his blanket.

Liam carried Harry to my car and cover him with the blanket then closed the door.

"I will be waiting you! Thank you so much for all the help! I can't thank you enough. I don't know what I was going to do without you".

"stop it Li, that's what friends are here for! You don't have to thank me. Just pray for Harry to get better" I cut him off. "I will keep calling you to tell you what will happen" I added, then I got in my car and started driving to the hospital.

okay, long chapter, i really enjoyed writing this one, i love reading the sick fanfics. so i tried to add it in my fic as well.
