We pulled up to the pizza place parking lot. The building was called 'BOOMER'S PLAZA'. It was kinda busy but it seemed like a chill place.
" Looks like a lot of the teens hang out here" my mom said as we walked into the restaurant.
"Welcome to Boomer's plaza , can I get you a table for 2." The hostess greeted us.
"Yes please" me and my mom at the same time.
"Aww you guys must be close, Hi I'm Jara I'll be your waitress for tonight" a girl said walking around the hostess.
She took us to a booth in the corner of the restaurant. "I'll give you guys a few minutes to decide what you want" she gave us our menus and walked away with a smile.
"This place seems nice and it's not too far from the house, maybe I should work here" I said.
"Haha you're funny , you work ? At a restaurant? Yeah, no" my mom laughed "you literally don't like people "
"I- ... anyways , mom" rolling my eyes "are you ready to order?"
"Yeah"
Just in time Jara came back. She took our orders but before she went back she asked, "Are you guys new? I haven't seen you here before"
"Yes, me and my daughter just moved out here " mom said. "she'll be starting school at SDHS on Monday"
"Yeah lol , hi I'm Alisha"
"That's great! Nice to meet you, maybe I'll see you around school. And a lot of the students from school come here too so if you come more you'll meet a lot more people " she beamed.
I like her, we could be good friends. "Now let me go place your orders" she rushed to the kitchen.
"so do you think you'll join cheer out here "
"I'm not sure mom I have to get the feel of everything first but I do love cheer so we'll see"
" Well maybe you can ask Michelle about it when you see her"
" yeah and speaking of Michelle , Thomas said that he's going to come down next weekend"
"Aww I miss him already!! But the 3 of you should all hang out so you can get to know Michelle a little better"
"Definitely, she seems like a cool person!"
"Better than the other thots he had"
I looked at her with wide eyes " please never said that again"
Jara came back with our food and made sure we had everything we needed before going back and waiting on the other guest. Me and my mom we're having a good time, we finished our food and we're getting ready to leave.
" I'm gonna use the restroom real quick mom"
" Alright I'm gonna wait in the car" she walked out of the restaurant.
I finished using the restroom , washed my hands and made my way to the front of the restaurant. As I was walking I heard my name being called. I looked over and it was Malik.
"Alisha" he called me over to his table with a bunch of football players, they were all wearing their letterman jackets, typical.
"Hey Malik" laughing as I walked over.
"Did you bump into anyone else today"
"Haha, very funny dumbass" I said sarcastically, pushing his shoulder.
"Stop abusing me" he pouted.
"Yo Mal, who's this cutie?" a player with a man bun said.
"She one of my sisters friends"
"Well she's hot," another player with a perm said. The other boys weren't paying attention. Some we're talking to each other and some were eating.
"Calm down man you're gonna freak her out, she's new here" Malik said
"So what school are you going to"
" San Diego high school, I start Monday" I said.
"Damn so I'll see you soon" man bun winked.
"Stop being a whore Jax" Jara came up behind him and smacked the back of his head.
"Ow aren't you supposed to be wiping tables or something" he whined rubbing the back of his it.
" Sorry about him Alisha he can be a lot sometimes" Jara apologized.
"Thanks Jara, I better get going" I blushed, turning to rush to the car. Just my luck I bumped right into someone's chest... again.
"Uh there she goes again, yo Sebastian she's a clumsy one" Malik laughed in the background . I huffed and mumbled sorry finally looking at who it was.
A white boy with blonde hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a letterman jacket , he was a little taller than me and was smirking. I mentally rolled my eyes, he's one of those.
I tried walking past him after saying sorry again but he stepped in front of me saying "I thinking you should apologize with a kiss"
"Yeah...no" I pushed past him.
He grabbed my hand and said " you must be new here"
"I- " I didn't get to finish my sentence because my mom honked the horn. So I pulled my hand away and started walking towards the car.
"I'm Sebastian by the way" he yelled.
Getting in the car my mom asked " who was that"
"Some boy I accidentally bumped into"
My mom started driving away, eyeing him "Mmm he looks like trouble, be careful with him" .
"Yeah" I huffed looking out the window watching the building fly by.
Finally getting home I make my way to my room and get ready for bed. I lay down mumbling to myself. "This is going to be interesting"
