(Rylee's POV)

She walked on sidewalk, not knowing her destination, but knowing which roads to take. It was ironic in that sense, to know what the wrong answer was, but not know what the correct one is? No matter the irony, it was her life, to understand what direction to go in, but not to know how long until she got there. But she did get there, she always did. She looked around. It was a brisk morning, fall leaves scattered around her, the crunch as they crumbled beneath her shoes. The smell of pine, and earthy ground filled her nose. It was autumn. A time of change.  She believed that right before a leaf fell, was when it was at its peak. The highest point in its life. She saw where she was, and it finally registered. She was at the park that had been closed years ago due to relocation. It was still in use, but you had to walk through foliage to get to it. It's weird how that is, to find a gem, you have to dig through roots, and rocks. But a gem, nonetheless and it was hers. She walked to a swing set and sat down, letting the breeze caress her. She sat there for who knows how long, letting her thoughts of life slip away. In a matter of minutes, maybe seconds, she felt calm. That was until a sensation overcame her. It was one that she felt regularly, often times she only felt it when she was in danger. She grabbed her Glock 19 and spun around, checking every tree and every hiding spot she ever knew to be in this area. She came up with nothing, thoughts of her being watched overwhelmed her. She looked around again, this time calling out. "Whos there!?" She always had her gun loaded and ready to fire, her finger on the trigger guard. Nobody answered, no movement at all. She put her gun back in her waistband, sure it was a misconception. Perhaps it was a civilian that was walking on a nearby trail. Perhaps her father sent a guard out to look for her? Or the possibility always was, that she, heir to the Anderson throne, was being watched. But if she was being watched, how? And who was so skilled they were un detected by her. Most importantly, why, were they still here..

(Kathy's POV)

We arrived at the mall around eleven in the morning. We stopped for gas and coffee along the way. We walked into the mall, purses on shoulders and phones and coffees in either hand. "Hmm, we need an outfit each, new shoes, and jewelry!" Lauren was always the task keeper, God knows Kathy couldn't organize at all. "Yes ma'am!" Kathy shouted. They were greeted by friendly workers at the entrance giving instructions. "Nearest Macy's Miss?" Lauren's friendly smile was only surpassed by her melodic voice. "Oh! Go right down this entry way and it to your right!" The employee was nice enough, her voice sounded rushed, yet polite most likely trying to get to another customer. The two girls followed her instructions, turning right and walking towards a Macy's. The mall was very modern, large open windows with white tiled walls and an open glass roof. Pillars and walls separated the rooms, green foliage in pots all around the corners. "Earth to Kathy?" Lauren chuckled at her friend. Kathy couldn't help it, she appreciated the art of the building, she was an artist after all. They walked into Macy's and were greeted by the amounts of clothes and other goods the store had to offer. the rushed to their correct departments and started sorting through the clothing. Kathy found a beautiful jean dress that seemed comfortable and great for style as well, plus, it wouldn't look to bad with a few paint splatters, a must for all of Kathy's clothing. Lauren found a golden dress with a white jacket and white belt. She enjoyed shopping with Lauren, they knew what the other liked, what styles would suit the, what colors to and what not to pick, and what the other would like. "Hey! ready to pay? I already have some super cute white boots at home." Lauren was a great time manager too. "Yea, I also have some tan boots and accessories that I adore already." Kathy replied. She wasn't the best at organizing, but she had bought some tan boots recently and they had given her tan accessories that looked great with jeans. They payed for their things separately, and walked out of the mall into the parking lot. As they got in the car Kathy remembered a detail she forgot to mention to Lauren. "Oh! The party is at for in the evening on Saturday okay?" Kathy had almost forgot to tell her when? Yeah, she wasn't good at organizing at all. "Okay, thanks, we can drive together!" Lauren started the car while speaking and as they pulled out of the parking spot and Kathy looked out the window, something caught her eye. It was gone as soon as she saw it, but she did see it. A man, nobody she had ever seen before, that seemed to stare directly into her. But she had never met the man! It was as if he saw right through her. Or, rather, what was beside her. She looked at Lauren, deciding something. Any man that was Lauren's enemy was Kathy's too.

(Mystery Man's POV)

He looked straight through her. He knew what she hid, what secrets she held. He knew what she planned to do. And he wasn't going to let that happen. He was going to expose that Anderson sister. Even if it was the last thing he'd ever do. His thoughts were interrupted by his phone ringing. He answered the phone holding it up to his ear. "Hello?" He started talking. The other end of the line held a deep voice, much like his own. "Son. Did you follow her? Do you know where she might be? Did you find any info?" His father rambled quite often, but this was with good reason. This Anderson would ruin everything if they came into the slightest amount of power. "Yes Dad. I did. She is most certainly planning something.. I'm not sure what but it will destroy the Anderson name." He was worried, why could nobody see her true self? She was a serpent. A silver tonged snake. And he would expose her. He would save the throne. She most certainly wasn't fit for it. And he would make sure of that, no matter the cost.
