Chapter five {Lumity ver.}

A/N: ok- so this chapter won't be very long, or as long as the actual chapter five, but aNywAys- I'll see about posting the boschlow version of chapter five tonight because I can't sleep rn 😅

Luz's POV
Luz sat back on the couch as she scribbled on a piece of paper, she grinned as she tapped it and it bloomed into a flower, she held it up and slowly turned it around "wow..this is really cool! Hey king! What do you think??" Luz asked king excitedly, "mhmmm looks cool, now leave me alone I'm trying to sleep" He replied, Luz grinned, "sorrryyy buddy", Luz sat up and remembered something " OH CRAMITY" she and amity were supposed to be hanging out today, Luz quickly packed some papers, her azura books and a pen as well as her phone into her bag and pulled her shoes on, "EDA, I'M GOING OUTT!" the girl yelled back into the house from the door, eda was either asleep or busy, luz didn't know, but she quickly shut the door and began to run down the worn path in the forest that led away from the owl house, the place Luz has been calling her home for the last while, she found it pretty comforting by now

Luz got into bonesborough, panting, she had run wayy to fast, she was doubled over, choking down air, thennn "OH! Luz!" It was the youngest blight, luz shaking, slowly looked up, "h-heyyy amity-" Luz was still struggling to catch her breath, amity looked worried, "hey Luz..are you okay?" The blight put her hand on Luz's arm, "yeP! I-im fine-" Luz straightens up, "so, are we going to the library then amity? " The girl asked her friend, amity, who still had her hand on luz's arm nodded, "yeah, let's go-", Luz looked down at amitys hand, and gently pulled her arm away and held amitys hand, " Alright then-" Luz grinned, amity however was now just looking at her and luz's hands, her face red, Luz pulled amity through bonesborough to the library, she pushed open the door and led the way to amitys hideout, amity opened the secret door to it and they went in, Luz flopped down on a lilac pillow bag as amity sat down on a minty green chair, both girls talked for a while then started reading the azura books together

A little while after
Amitys POV

Amity had moved to a pillow bag beside luz, so they could read together properly, after a while the latina rested her head on amitys shoulder, amity froze up as she looked down at Luz, amity paused as she looked at her...she had fallen asleep, amity smiled softly and sighed, she didn't think that she would fall in love with Luz,..a human, but here she was, absolutely smitten over the human girl now asleep on her shoulder, amity closed her eyes and slowly fell asleep too

Luz's POV

Luz slowly woke up, had she really fallen asleep while her and amity were hanging out, luz realized something, there was a gentle weight on her head and someone was hugging her, she blinked a few times so her eyesight was clear, "..amity?" She asked quietly, not wanting to disturb the witch who was currently cuddling her, then it clicked with Luz, amity, amity blight was cuddling her, the girls face turned red and she gently pushed away from amity a bit, just enough to look at the witch properly, she had fallen asleep too, she looked... Absolutely adorable when she was asleep, then Luz heard something, it sounded like footsteps approaching the shelf where the Hideout was, the door of the Hideout opened and standing in the doorway was emira and edric, amitys older siblings, em and ed looked at the girls, the siblings grinned, "hey cutie, we had been looking for mittens, but it looks like you two are busy, so we'll just come back later" Emira siad, edric on the other hand, took a picture with his scroll, "I can't wait to send this to mittens later" He siad with a grin, at that the twins left, shutting the door behind them, Luz cuddled back up to amity and smiled

She wouldn't trade this for all of the world
