She's best girl and no one can tell me otherwise

I couldn't help but stare. I knew I should look away, but she was pretty. I didn't even know her name. She had dark hair braided behind her and matching dark eyes and the way she spoke and walked was entrancing. I finally tore my eyes away and took out a book and a pencil. I managed a quick glance back at the dark angel that stood before me and began to make the lines that captured her best.

I was hoping she couldn't tell I was looking at her, she might think I'm creepy and... scratch that I totally shouldn't be doing this... I should stop but I hate stopping a drawing half-way. I sighed and shook my head and continued. By the time I was done it was still a little messy but it looked like her. I was glad I finished before school was over.

I had packed up everything I needed to I picked up my book that held every drawing I had ever done this year. The most recent was of the dark angel. Of course, I'm not the most elegant myself. I tripped in the hall, the sudden stop in movement made my grip on my book slip from my hand. I stopped myself from cursing out loud and I went to pick it up only to see someone else pick it up instead.

I froze very suddenly, looking at the much taller guy standing in front of me. He happened to open the book flipping through the pages and I did not dare move.

"The hell are you doing drawing her?" He asked.

"I- I just thought- I thought she was- was pretty" I stuttered out. I flinched at the sound of tearing as the guy in front of me tore the page from the book. He crumpled it up and tossed it in the nearby trash can.

"You're gonna curse us all at this rate," he said and pushed me aside slamming my book into my chest as he passed me. I sighed as I ran my hand over the ripped edge of the paper. I looked into the trash can and fished out the paper. I straightened out the sheet only to see the pencil marks had smudged. I'd have to redo it all.

"Dammit..." I muttered. I sighed sliding my book back into my bag I left the school building.

The following day went similarly. I never really had to pay attention during classes. I was already ahead in most of them. I found myself unable to draw her suddenly, it was like I wasn't able to properly draw her shape and personality. All that was on the page was sketch lines.

"What are you doing?" I jumped and looked up seeing the angel herself.

"Uh... drawing" I answered.

"You're drawing me?" She phrased it like a question. I nodded.

"Why?" She asked.

"I think you're really pretty" I answered. She nodded and sat across from me at the desk just in front of me. She didn't do anything in particular but it was perfect. I smiled and she returned it, even though it was small it made my face feel hot.

"I think you're very talented," she said.

"Yeah? You'd be the first" I chuckled and she blinked a few times before speaking again,

"My name is Hanajima Saki," she said.

"(Y/n) (L/n)" I answered. After a few minutes, I got a rough sketch and was able to complete her second drawing quickly. This time I added the effect of falling feathers.

"What are the feathers for?" She asked.

"Well... uh- this is gonna sound weird... you look like an uh- a dark angel" I explained. She seemed fond of that idea.

"Thank you. I like it" she said. I smiled happy that she was happy with my work.
