"Lady Y/N!" Thor's voice boomed as he saw you in the kitchen.
Giggling you rushed over towards him, allowing him to pull you in for a bone-crushing hug.
"I've missed you." Thor muttered slightly into your ear, only allowing you to be able to hear him.
"I've missed you too." You replied, grinning upwards at him, not bothering to unwrap your arms from each other.
Thor had become one of your best friends since you joined the team. It was unknown as to why the God took such a liking to you, but you never questioned it.
The sound of someone clearing their throat, pulled you both back to the kitchen.
"Lady Y/N, this is my brother." He gestured to the tall raven haired man, glancing between you both with a skeptical expression. "My brother, Loki." He finished in a hesitant voice.
Nodding your head, you offered Loki a smile, in which he scoffed.
Frowning you took a step back, realizing you were the only three in the kitchen, that the rest of the team must've left at some point during the exchange.
"I've heard so much about you." You spoke, towards Loki.
"All bad things, I assume." He spat. Loki muttered something to Thor, before he exited the kitchen leaving you alone with his brother.
"I apologize for my brother." Thor frowned slightly, letting out a huff.
"It's alright." You giggled. "I didn't expect a warm greeting from him."
The rest of the day, you spent wandering around the tower in boredom. Finally, you passed the library for the umpteenth time that day, before settling to go in.
Walking in, you allowed your fingers to run along the spines of the books with each step you took, allowing you to let out a content sigh.
Finding one of your favorite books, you ventured to one of the many, tables before you settled into a comfortable position.
After awhile, you begun to feel the presence of someone else. Sighing, you knew exactly who it was. The person in question, took it upon himself to take the seat opposite of you.
Once he sat down, there was a silence that surrounded you, before he broke the silence.
"So, you and my brother?" He questioned nonchalantly.
