I opened my eyes. I looked at her and smiled before blowing the candles.
"Yey!" I chuckled, she looks like a kid.
She put down the cake on the table. "Don't tell me you forgot your birthday, Jeong?"
I looked down and scratches my nape. "Kind of?" I heard her hissed.
"Hey! You can't blame me, okay? I was so busy managing our company that I even forgot what day today is." I reasoned out. Well, that's true! I don't check dates. I just work work work.
"I will let you slide this time, because it's your birthday." She crossed her arms and rolled her eyes.
I nodded, repeatedly. "Nabong, thank you." I sincerely said.
She remembered my birthday. I couldn't be more happier.
