Jeongyeon's POV
"Hi." I greeted as soon as I saw Nayeon looking at me.
"Hi. Sit down, Jeongyeon."
I made my way and sat down on the chair in front of her. "Uh, I thought this restaurant was closed since I didn't see customers." I chuckled. I almost back out when I saw this restaurant empty, but thankfully I asked the guard if the restaurant is open, and he answered yes.
"You're probably wondering then. I rent this place for us. You don't have to worry." Nayeon answered and waved her hand at the waitress not far away from us.
"You shouldn't have to, you know? We can just go to a private room to avoid attention."
"But I want to. Don't worry about it." She mumbled. Okay, I just nodded at her, I can't win over Nayeon, aren't I?
The waitress came and handed us the menu. I looked over at the list of the foods, it's an Asian cuisine. I told the waitress my order, I'll just stick to Korean cuisine. Nayeon also told the waitress her order, she ordered Chinese cuisine if I am not mistaken.
The waitress repeated our order. "Your food will be served in 20 minutes. Excuse me." Then she bowed.
"So, uh, how's work, Jeongie?" Nayeon started the conversation.
I told her everything. We're like an old friends who's catching up from not seeing each other for years. Soon, I got more comfortable telling her stories, she's just staring at me and listening carefully, word for word. Vice versa, she's also telling me some stories, like what she has been doing with her idol life, studying while being an idol. And goodness, I can't stop staring at her. I can't help it, she is so stunning tonight, though she is really stunning every day but tonight is different, she is so so much stunning. You can't blame me, she's THE Im Nayeon after all.
"Jeongie, are you listening? You keep on staring on my face. What's wrong with my face? Do I have dirt? That's so embarrassing if ever I have dirt on my face." Nayeon shook her head and giggles.
Oh, shit. Am I that obvious?! What should I tell her? Should I tell her 'Nabongs, no, you don't have dirt on your face. I just keep staring at you because you looked so stunning right now and I just can't help myself.' should I say that?! Of course, no! Jeongyeon, you're really an idiot.
"Jeongie?" Nayeon called, waiting for my answer.
"Uh... Uhm." What should I say?! Please, someone save me! "Oh, you don't-"
"Here's your food." The waitress came with trays on her hands.
Thank you to this waitress. She saved me from getting embarrassed in front of Im Nayeon.
"Thank you." I gave the waitress a smile after she put down our foods.
"Y-You're welcome, Ma'am. Call me, if you guys have something to order again. I will leave you two, have a nice dinner." She bowed and left.
"Getting flirty with a waitress... again." I looked at Nayeon, who is fixing her table napkin, not even glancing at me.
I chuckled. "I'm just being kind. Nothing to worry about it."
She shrugged and we started eating still chit chatting about anything that came into our mind.
"Oh, how's Michaeng's relationship going?" I asked Nayeon, she's always sees Chaeyoung since they are label mates and she is Mina's best friend after all.
"They are going strong. Chaeyoung introduced Mina to our whole family when we had family gathering. Mina was so nervous that time that me and Chaeyoung needed to hold her hands because she's shaking. She really doesn't want to disappoint our family that's why she did everything to impress the whole family even though she's super nervous as hell." Nayeon giggles. Well, I will be nervous too if ever I face Nayeon's whole family. They are kinda intimidating, but Chaeyoung's parents are so kind. I met them before when we were in highschool.
