I was woken up from my dreams because someone, or something, was tickling my feet. I groaned as I saw West sitting on my legs and playing with my toes.
"I'm hungry, daddy."
A glance at the clock showed me that I should have been at the set an hour ago. I jumped off the bed, tucking a giggling West under my arm, and ran down the stairs to the kitchen.
"Again!" I shook my head to which West responded with a sad face.
I sat him down and began to make breakfast. Some waffles with whipped cream and chocolate sauce. Vicki joined us with a crying Maison in her arms.
"What's wrong with her?" I asked after giving them both a kiss on their foreheads. Vicki shrugged.
"Do you want to go to work with daddy?" Vicki asked our kids. West threw his hands in the air and jumped up and down. He loved being on set with me, especially when Jensen was around. They were really close which worried me a bit. To be honest, I think Jensen was more of a father to West than I am.
-
On our way to the set, Vicki and I didn't talk at all. After I told her about the Destiel becoming canon issue she began to act different around me. I couldn't blame her. There was a lot of smutty Destiel fan art and we've always laughed about it, saying it would never be real. I really believed that. In the end we're actors and we have to do what the script says, it shouldn't be such of a problem.
I grabbed Vicki's hand, giving her an apologetic look.
"I know how you feel about this situation, but there's nothing to worry about. We're just acting."
She nodded, "I'm not worried about that. I'm worried that this will ruin your friendship and I don't want to see that happening. I know how much you love Jensen, it would break you."
I sighed. That makes two of us.
"Look, we're professionals, we can handle this," I told her reassuringly.
"I hope so, for the both of you," Vicki paused, "Maison doesn't seem to feel very well. I'm going to have to take her to the doctor's. Do you think West can stay with you?"
"Of course he can," I smiled, "good luck at the doctor's, Mai." I gave her a kiss on the cheek as I stroked her warm head.
-
When West saw Jensen standing next to Jared, he got really excited and started giggling uncontrollably.
"Jensen! Jared!" I called out. They turned their heads around and looked at us smiling. After letting go of my hand, West ran at full speed towards the two. Jensen bent down and opened his arms to greet him. He threw him in the air playfully. Westy couldn't stop giggling.
"Hello, Uncle Jay."
"Hey, little man."
Jared feigned a sad look, "what about me?"
West responded with sticking his tongue out and holding Jensen's hand tightly. We all started laughing, "Hey guys, I'm sorry I'm late..."
"It's alright, buddy, we filmed other scenes first. Well, um, we have to get ready for our next scene though," Jensen said, wiggling his eyebrows. I was relieved that he wasn't mad about the situation anymore.
"Pass me the script."
Jared suggested taking care of West while we'd learned our lines.
-
Jensen and I went to his trailer.
"You know, I'm sorry about yesterday. That wasn't very professional of me, but I'm not ready for you to kiss me," Jensen said while scratching the back of his head.
"It's okay, I understand that, I'm not ready either," I chuckled and playfully punched his shoulder.
He passed me the script and read through. There wasn't anything sexual, so far, but it still made us feel uncomfortable.
-
"Castiel, please, I need you. Where are you? Cas!" Dean prayed. He rested his weary head on the table. His arms wrapped around himself. The emptiness he felt was depressing. Dean wanted his angel back, but he had work to do. He needed to focus back on the family business.
'Stay focused!' he thought.
Dean stood up, stretched out his limbs and went into the bathroom to take a cold shower.
Sam was somewhere in Minnesota for a case. He'd told Dean that he could handle it on his own and that Dean should take one or two days off. Dean protested at first but realized it would be pointless. So there he was, all alone, stuck in the bunker, with no angel to make fun of.
The cold water ran down his back and sent shivers up his spine. He remembered when he was taking a shower and Castiel flew in, informing him of a new case. Dean yelled at Castiel and the angel's face had looked so confused and kind of terrified, the poor little angel. He wished he had never screamed at Castiel. Dean placed his hands on the wall and started sobbing again. The cold water was all over him.
"Cas, you ass, I need you!" he screamed and suddenly all he wanted was to hug Castiel and tell him how much he meant to him. Dean stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel tightly around his hips. The reflection of his face in the bathroom mirror scared him. Dean's green eyes were red and puffy with big, dark bags underneath them. It made him look like a zombie.
Castiel watched Dean, tired and sad. He missed Dean, of course, but the hunter couldn't know he was there. The things that were after him would notice his presence. Though, they wouldn't get in the bunker, they would still know where he was. They wouldn't know the exact place, but it was
still too dangerous. At least, that's what Sam told him. Castiel had to find out what was trying to kill him so he could kill it first and make sure the Winchesters were safe.
"Castiel, I beg of you." Dean prayed once more. Castiel almost made himself visible, but stopped himself when Dean's phone started ringing. He picked it up and answered. Castiel knew that it was Sam, but he couldn't figure out what the younger Winchester was saying.
"Stay exactly where you are, Sammy! I'm on my way, don't do anything on your own!"
Sam said something, but the angel still couldn't make it out.
"No, Sam, don't! It's too dangerous. You don't know! I said-"
Sam interrupted him.
"Okay. He won't listen. You know he doesn't care-"
Castiel couldn't concentrate on whatever Dean said next because Sam's voice was in his head. He was praying to him. His voice got louder and louder, it gave the angel a headache.
'I can't, Sam!" He thought, but he listened to what Sam was saying.
-
"CUT!" Robert screamed. Jensen turned around and glanced at me. I smiled.
"Good job, that was really emotional," I teased.
"Oh, shut your face!" He laughed. I was impressed by the way his muscles moved under his flawless skin.
"Get some clothes on, man."
