[part 3] Phasmophobia

I've never just opened up to someone like that...
It felt strange but good, I told corpse all about my anxiety and he listened to everything I had to say. He even offered some very helpful advice.

I had barely known him a couple days and I already felt like I could trust him with my life. His voice is what intrigued me in the first place but his personality is so unique that no YouTube videos or streams could ever explain to his audience what he is truly like.

A few days after opening up to him we were invited to play Phasmophobia with Rae and Poki together. We obviously agreed since we hadn't played together in a while and I was in desperate need for some content. We continued to text back and forth during the days leading up to the game.

I sat in my gaming chair in front of my computer, I switched between texting corpse and updating my social media to announce the stream was about to start. I take a deep breath before putting down my phone and starting the stream.

"Hey guys, welcome to the stream!" I say with a smile. "Oh yeah. For the people who don't know I'm playing phasmophobia with CORPSE husband, Valkeyrae and Pokimane. This is a really fun group so I'm looking forward to messing with them" I smile as I think of ways to scare corpse during the game.

I join the discord and see that the other three had already joined. "Hey guys," I say just as I join the voice call. "STYX!" Rae shouts. I chuckle and chat with the other three until we are all ready to start.

Corpse and I play basketball with each other in game while we wait for Rae to get her settings correct. "Come on Styx. We both know I'm better than you" corpse says mockingly. "What?! I got almost all of those shots!" I say in mock anger. "Nuh uh. You see that score? All me baby," he sounds so confident as he speaks. "No way. I got all 100 of those" I speak quickly before picking up my water bottle to hide my blush.

I'm pretty sure he didn't even realize he had called me 'baby' but I definitely did. I choose to ignore chat for a moment to check my new notification.

Corpse: why are you blushing?

Styx: HKJHJNJ WHY ARE YOU WATCHING ME????

Corpse: I wanted to see how you would react if I called you baby. The results were satisfactory.

Styx: satisfactory? Serial killer much?
Play the game dumbass.

Corpse: ouch

I chuckle and put my phone down just in time to grab an EMF and a flashlight before heading into the house. We play for about 3 hours before I announce that my food has arrived. I quickly say my goodbyes before ending the stream. Corpse says his goodbyes at the same time and leaves moments before me.

I quickly end my stream, ignoring questions about corpse and reading out superchats. I stand up from my chair and flip down on the couch. My phone buzzes from underneath me

Corpse: that was cute
