I'm going to keep this short because I don't have a lot of time. You know that feeling you get when someone stares at you? Your hair prickles and your eyes dilate? You know someone is right there, just above your shoulder but then you turn around and no one is there. You try to convince yourself it's nothing, it's your brain trying to make you feel less alone. Or maybe you just watched a scary movie and you keep thinking about how the killer snuck up behind the unsuspecting girl and slashed her throat. Maybe that killer is behind you now, breathing down your pretty neck and just waiting for his opportunity.

That feeling will save your life. It isn't your brain tricking you and it isn't the movie you just watched. Something really is behind you, something really is stalking you. You can't see it, not until it's decided you're scared and weak enough to take, but it's real. You are going to see this post and scroll on, I know you will. I would have, too, I mean look at where you are for God's sake. But don't just scroll because if you do...it knows to come for you. It wants the people who are skeptics, the people who think a story is just a story. You are their favorite plaything and why? Because you present a challenge and the energy it takes to break you down becomes its own personal meat tenderizer.

You're probably reading this right now, right? Thinking it's just a story. Nothing is with me. Are you alone? Is it dark in your bedroom, lit by only the harsh glow of your computer screen? Are you feeling your skin and hair prickle from its gaze?

Do me a favor, if you do nothing else. Slowly walk to your light switch and turn it on. It can't find you in the light. And whatever you do...don't look over your shoulder.
