The next day came as Diablo awoke from his slumber. He felt something was different, something was missing. He didn’t feel the rage in his heart no more, inside there was nothing but peace and relief as it slowly washed over his body. But that wasn’t the only thing that was different, the atmosphere itself was off. As he rolled off the couch his face in his hands he saw a piece of paper on the table in front of him.  It was a letter from his beloved Mina that read.

Dear Diablo,

I’m sorry but I left, I dont think I’m going to return for I have reconnected with my friend. They were first in my life so I am going to peruse a future with them, I’m sorry for this.

Love,

Your angel Mina.

Water spots manifested on the paper as his grip tightened at the edges of it. As he sat there trying to take in what just happened he couldn’t hold back his tears no longer. He was hurt, mad, sad, a blunder of mixed emotions as he spread his wings and smashed through the castle wall and made his way to the forest. As his anger grew his body temperature rose, him hovering over the land below him. Then engulfed in a red aura he let out a huge yell and took his rage out on the land. Beams, fire, and blasts shattered the earth as he continued his rampage. Creatures who were living in the area ran for their lives but not all could escape Diablo’s wrath. At this time the witch Veratose sensed Diablo was in distress and made haste to where he was. Approaching the almost waste land he was creating she could see dust kicking up as more earth flew into the air. The closer she got the harder it was to maintain flight for the winds what were created made it almost impossible to reach him. The hatred that was radiating from him intense and the closer you got to him the more it burned, but she was determined to help him. Dodging debris left and right she made her way to him and slapped a talisman on his forehead. He instantly blacked out and fell limp into her arms. She took them both to the destroyed wasteland he had created, after laying him down she took a look around and took in the sight. There was nothing left but craters and dirt. “What the hell caused you to act like this”? she said to herself. Taking out her sketch pad she drew up a bird and made it come to life. She increased the size hopped up on its back and took flight sweeping Diablo up in the birds talons and made her way back to the cabin. Landing in front of her house she drew up some scribbles and had them carry Diablo inside. Going to her cabinet she grabbed a container of salt and created a circle around him before removing the talisman from his forehead.

A: ugh my head, you know this whole blacking out bullshit is getting old

V: what the hell is the matter with you acting like that!

A: I’m sorry but could you please take it easy on me I’m hurting.

V: and you dont think that all those creatures that lived in the area you demolished didn’t hurt or are hurting to?!

A: yeah....well...I...

V: no you need to get your head out of your ass calm down and then we can talk about what’s bothering you.

A: yes ma’am

Akira sat there in that circle of salt pondering  until he was calm.

V: are you done throwing a fit?

A: yes ma’am can you let me out?

V:no I kind of like you in this predicament sop Ima soak it up.

A: fine, mina is gone and she left me a note

V: let me see this note.

Akira handed her the piece of paper and watched as his best friend scanned it.

V: what the hell, and this is why you blew up like this?

A: yes ma’am it is, I blew up cause I’m heart broken

V: awwww I’m so sorry this happened but destroying shit isn’t going to help

A: I know I just didn’t know what else to do, and can you please let me out of this shit, it’s bad enough I keep getting knocked out in previous chapters as well as always being caught in some spell it makes me look like a bitch .

V: fine there you happy now!?

A: yes I am punk!

V: pfft whatever you’re the punk here not me

A: ugh we are not doing this again now

V: I have a cup of coffee for you on the counter then we can talk more

A: yes ma’am thank you for your hospitality

The two engaged in conversation  for hours as he opened up about how he felt to his friend. As well as playing the game catch up, tears turned into laughter as the time passed. But Veratose knew that this wasn’t going to be as easy for him for Akira has the emotional strength of a tooth pick and today he fell the farthest he had ever fallen before in his life.
