Ok so I know that they are pretty young when they all meet so I think I'll bump them up. Aang he'd be 14, katara is 15, Sakka and Zuko is 16. Yes I know there not the same age but that's how it will be.

It's been years now. We still haven't found the Avatar. Zukos anger has gotten worse. He likes to lash out on the crew and sometimes me. Usually iroh helps but it's not much help.

Today is just another day in the ship. We are near the southern water tribe. "F/n get me some water" Zuko said. I bowed and left. Dum prince! Is all I thought as I got his water. I quickly walked back up to the deck. When I got up the stairs someone pushed me down.

"Watch where your going" someone said laughing. I got down to pick up the broken shards. Me being clumsy I tried to catch a shard I dropped and cut my self. The crew just laughed. "Hay! What are you doing?!" Zuko screamed.

"U-uum sir s-she bumped into me and-" the man started. "Stop! I saw what happened you tripped her. Since you wanted to hurt someone you can clean this up. F/n get off the ground" he said glaring at me. I got up quickly. "I'll go get you another drink" I said about to leave. "Did I say I want another drink?" Zuko asked. "no sir" I said puting my head down and clinching my teeth. I'm glad he helped me but can he not be a rude brat for once.

He wants to talk down to me! I can beat him any day. "Zuko calm down. F/n keep your head up. Your not weak." iroh said in my defense. "She couldn't beat me!" Zuko said and I snapped. "That's it! I have had enough with you! I challenge you and if I win you can't talk down on me!" I yelled poking his chest. I had enough of his bratty attitude.

They looked shocked. "What if I win?" Zuko asked. "I don't know it's not like you can't do anything to me already" I said rolling my eyes. "Fine if I win. You have to stay in the freezing cold waters for a hour. With no clothes on." He said smirking. Iroh went to stop this but I smiled and said "deal" we shook hands and he went to get ready.

Everyone gathered up. I burned my arm sleeves to make it easier to move and I wasn't wearing a dress so I don't really have to do anything to that. Zuko and i stood infront of each other. "Ready?" He asked and I nodded. He suddenly shot fire at me and I dodged.

He kept on. "If your just going to dodge you might as well give up" he said angry. While he let his guard down I then nocked him off balance with my flames. When he was wobbling I kicked him out of the circle. I heard gasping everywhere. None off the guard have could beat Zuko. "You shouldn't have let your guard down because I'm smaller." I said. I stretched out a hand to help him up. He just hit it away and stormed off.

"Well done f/n. How long have you been practicing?" Iroh asked "every night and not to say I watch him practice all the time." I said. "How much do you sleep?" Iroh asked surprised. "Couple of hours. If you excuse me sir I should get changed into something more appropriate." I said walking away.

When I came back Zuko looked calmer. "F/n!" He called. "you called sir?" I asked bowing. "I want you to join as a guard." He said. I looked at him in the eyes. "I'm sorry sir?" I asked.

He huffed "look your a good fighter. I would like you to join as my personal guard" he said angry. "Do I have to wear a lot of armer because I can't fight in that" I said. "No you don't" he said.

"Ok and sir" I said. "What?" He said obviously angrier. "Thanks for the dual. Your a good opponent." I said bowing.
He huffed and turned his face away. I couldn't tell but he was blushing. We may have hated each other at first but after living with someone for years on a boat, you learn to hate each other less.

Suddenly a blue light came from the southern water tribe. I snapped my heard to it and back at Zuko. He watched knowing it must be the Avatar. "Set the sail! Were going to the southern water tribe!" He screamed. Everyone ran around frantically. I could see slight hope in his eyes. There was also a hint of fear.

"Well here is a chance to see how well you do" Zuko said leaving. I clinched my fist. I hate water tribes.
