Wanted

Chapter 1

Burlin's POV:

I was crouching in the corner of the basement listening to my dad pushing my mom up against the wall upstairs, so I got up and I yelled at my father for hitting my mom, but then he started walking towards me and grabs my hair and wraps it around his hand and drags me over to the wall and pushes me up against it
"You little bitch! Don't you ever let me hear you talk to me like that again, do you fucking understand me?!"
I was furious, and I didn't care what happened to me just as long as he quit abusing my mom, so I spoke my mind
"You know what?! I fucking hate you, I don't even have consider you as my father anymore and I can talk to you however I want to to!" and as soon as I finished talking, he banged my head into the metal bed frame and started cussing me out again and next thing I knew, my vision was getting blurry and my head was bleeding

As I try to feel where the cut is, I hear my mom scream at him and tell him to quit hitting me, and then I see him walk over to the dresser and grab something, and then hit went over to her and hit her with it in the leg and I tried my hardest to stand but I just couldn't and
Right as my eyes were fluttering closed, I saw him smash her head in the wall and I blacked out after that
******2 hours later******
I heard some shuffling in the kitchen, so I got up to go and see who it was and right as I stood up I felt a massive headache coming on, so I decided when I got down there I would get some ibuprofen

Before I went down, I decided to get ready for school first, so I grabbed a flowy shirt and a pair off light washed denim skinny jeans with some mint green converse
as soon as I got done changing, I went into my bathroom and straightened my hair, then pinned back the sides
I didn't feel like doing my makeup so I just put on some mascara, then I went back into my room and put everything I needed into my backpack and grabbed my keys, my wallet and my phone, and lastly I put in my Kendra Scott earrings, my necklace, and my rings, then headed downstairs

When I got down there I peeked around the corner and saw that it was my mom who was down there so I went ahead and asked her where the ibuprofen was "Mom?"
"Yes, sweetie?"
"Do you know by any chance where the ibuprofen is at?"
"Yes, It's in the lounge room by the cupboards"
"Thanks mom"
"No problem honey!"
"Mom....um...are y-you ok?"
"Uh...Yah sweetie I'm fine....and I am sorry your father did that, I really am, and I hope you are okay" she frowned
"I'm okay, I just want this to stop soon, I don't want to see you getting beat every single day for nothing" I said as I held back the tears that were threatening to spill
"I know, me too sweetheart, I just don't know when" she sighed as I wiped away her tear and gave her a hug

"Well mom I don't want to leave you but I have to get to class" "Okay, I don't want you to be late so I will see you after you get out of school!" She smiled
"Ok...Love you mom, See you later, bye!"
"Love you too, bye honey!"
She gave me a quick peck on the cheek and I headed out the door

I looked at my phone and the time read 8:47 and I realized I was gonna be late so I ran to my car, unlocked it, buckled and pulled out quickly

There wasn't much traffic today so I was a little over the speed limit so I could get to class on time, because there was no way I was gonna be late on the first day of school

I had made it to my first class, two minutes before the teacher started, so I took a seat towards the back, and then I felt a hand on my shoulder as I turned around to grab a pencil out of my bag, and saw Louis smiling at me

Louis was my friend since 6th grade and now I'm in 12th grade so we have grown pretty close over the years

"Hey! I haven't seen you in a while!" I said as I pulled him in for a hug
"I know it's been what? All of summer I think?!" He asked as I chuckled
"Yah I'm pretty sure!" I laughed
"But anyways, I wanted to ask you something"
"Go ahead, ask away"
"Okay so after school do you wanna come with me to get some frozen yogurt and then maybe go out to eat with Niall, Claire, and I?" I asked excitedly
"Well I can go with you to get frozen yogurt, but I just got back from London because I had to come here for my job this week, so I need to unpack and stuff, I'm sorry" he had a sad expression on his face
"No, no , no it's ok really, I should've known that you have a tight schedule with your job and everything, but I am glad that you can come after school with me" I smiled widely at him
"But I'm free next weekend, maybe all of us can go out to eat or whatever then?"
"Oh cool! Yah that would be amazing! Thanks Lou Bear!"
"No problem Burley" he smirked, me grinning

I wasn't really that sad about him not being able to eat with us really, I mean I know I haven't seen him in a while, but we could always hang out more later next weekend
"Okay great well looks like we have to go to our next class, so I will see you soon love" he said as he reached his arms out for a hug
"Okay, I will see you after school, be ready at 4:30 because I am picking you up at 5:00, okay?" I demanded jokingly
"Yes ma'am, anything to make you happy" he said sarcastically and chuckled
"Thank you sir" I smirked

I didn't have much planned when I got home from school, so I just went to the weight room to exercise for an hour or two, then after my work-out I Went to take take a quick shower because I was a little sweaty and I wanted to be ready for tonight

After I got out of the shower, I picked out a baby blue chevron tank top with my black high waisted shorts and a blue pair of converse ( and yes, I have a lot of converse and I do in fact wear them a lot) and then I grab my clutch, after that, I went to the bathroom to apply my make up, just a simple winged eyeliner with mascara and a bright red lipstick

Since I didn't really know what to do with my extremely long hair, I finally decided to put it up in a high ponytail

I grabbed me keys and quickly walked to my car to pick up Louis because it was already 4:49 and it took me about ten minutes to get to his house

When I pulled up, I honked for him to come, and he came out running and trying to put on his belt, which I thought was very funny

When he hopped in, I bust out laughing
"What? Why are you laughing?" He asked, a confused look across his face
"You looked funny trying to hurry and put on your belt!" I laughed
After I was ready, Niall picked me up along with Claire and we went to a fancy restaurant. We finally say our Goodbyes and they got me home around 11:35.when I got inside, I had gone upstairs to change into my bed clothes and watch a movie, when I saw a strange figure in the corner
of the deck outside.I walked slowly and quietly to the doors to see who it was because a lot of my friends climb up to hang out. As I walked to the door I caught a glimpse of the face, so I opened the door and to my surprise, A widely smiling Harry was standing there. He came in and I practically threw myself at him because in all honesty, I really needed this.
"Hazza! I missed you so much!" 'Hazza' was his nickname for me and mine was 'Berley'.
"I missed you too, Berley!" He said excitedly as he spun me around once or twice."Wow! I can't believe you are really here! I thought you guys were on tour in Peru, why are you here, not that I don't love that you are here but why aren't you there?!?!"
*chuckles slightly*"Calm down Berley, they let us off early so we could spend time with you and the family!"
"Really?! That is so sweet, and that's why you're my bestfriend!"
"And you are my bestfriend because you stick by my side through thick and thin.
"Aww Hazza! Ok well...we should go down and tell my mum that you are here, Is that ok with you?"
"Yah, she will love that, and plus she is incredibly nice to anyone she comes into contact with."
*mumbles*"Except my Father..."
*sighs*"I know I'm sorry, but that's why I'm here, for you. Now, Shall we start heading down?"
"Yah..." I say as I link my arm into his and we walk together downstairs to where my mom is.
