Chapter 1

Incidents happen.Sometimes they might be a sign for something good or something bad. We can’t control what will happen, so we’re always vulnerable for what God puts in our ways. We had many incidents going on in our life that we didn’t want.Bad incidents always crossed our path, but our meeting maybe was a sign for something new, but I have a feeling it won’t be bad,and not sure if it’s a good sign.

I am Allison Spears, I’m a 20 years old girl from Chicago,Illinois. My life is an updated version of a disaster. I was raised in a family so good , but I was driven towards the wrong path driving my parents with me to their darkest days.I wish I could just turn back time and pull myself out of the darkness I am in. You want to know why my inner is so dark? Well I’ll talk about it eventhough it’s so hard.My family was the greatest thing I ever had along with my bestie Stacey, I spent most of my times with her, she even stayed at my house and my family more than hers. My mother and father were everything to me , we were just the image of a family in perfection. My childhood is the greatest thing and the only good I had in my life.Strong family bonds, a bestie you all would’ve dreamed of,and always have a free time for the joy and fun in the house.
My Mid-School years were the worst.People in there always have wanted me for the popularity I give them, and to reach their goals by using me as their tool.I knew the hottest, but yet the worst guys you could ever see.Well I didn’t know about the worst till a few years.
I made a group of friends at the age of 13 , they looked so cool ,and one of the hottest guys was between them.His name was Laurence.He had those twisted muscles, and a strong body, white skin and blue eyes you could’ve drown in them.Just like water.His shiny blonde hair was everything, he had a style no one ever had , so unique.He was just the meaning in perfection.
Two years later, my friendship with Laurence just kept on growing bigger and bigger. We were like always hanging out with each other, sometimes alone (you can call it a date) ,sometimes with Stacey and a bunch of other people.Till that one night , I was invited by Stacey to the Amusement park.I didn’t understand why but I can remember that place as the first time Laurence and me went on a date.
We spent a few minutes in there and there was no sign of Laurence.

“Hey Allison, let’s go for the Ferris Wheel”-Stacey said.

“Yeah sure”.-I said still searching the crowd for Laurence.

On the way, just when the Ferris Wheel was in our vision , I saw a red carpet with so much red flowers thrown at it and on the sides , so many flowers planted on the iron fence if the Ferris Wheel.
I stepped on the red carpet.That’s when I recognized the boy’s group was their moving for me.
Laurence was their dressed so unique ,and wearing the fanciest clothes I ever saw.He was walking towards me.

“Allison, I knew you since the age of 13 , I didn’t realize then how much of a pretty person are you, I didn’t sense your angelic personality you had.I really have difficulties in showing what I want to, but ever since our first date in here, in this park, I started growing feelings for you, I felt I couldn’t remain a say without texting you.You were like my addiction, so I was asking myself why don’t we take things to the next level.”-Laurence said.

I felt a big shiver in my heart it was an overwhelming feeling I didn’t ever feel.

“ Allison, would you.. be my girlfriend?”-said Laurence in a deep voice.
My cheeks were red and I was so burning.I
didn’t control myself and threw my arms around him.
That was the best feeling ever had.

Years passed on my relationship with Laurence, we kept on texting , walking in the school corridors with people admiring our love.Until that year where I entered the age of 17, Laurence started with all this street gang shit, and kept on turning into a bully, selfish person with so much hate in his heart. I hated this version of him so I threatened breaking up with him. I told my father to let me meet him at his place where he had his gang.

“Laurence you’re just becoming every single day a version of a man worse than before . I keep on telling you to leave the gang but you won’t listen.I think... I think it’s better... if we part ways from here.” I said.

Laurence was raged as if he was drunk or something ,he kept coming to me with "you can’t do this to me" and tried to hit me, that’s when my father came in and stopped him. Only to see blood everywhere on my father. He stabbed him and ran away.I didn’t knew what to do , my father dropped dead in my arms.

I called the ambulance sobbing and crying , they came fast and took him just to announce him dead there.My mother broke down on the news she was slapped with, and couldn’t handle herself , she was crying hysterically on my father’s corpse, and the image of my mom crying over my dad,dead, just kelt on haunting me.It was the most fearsome thing I ever experienced I lost everything because of a decision I took.

We went back home with mom not saying a word all the way.When we reached home my mom stormed up to my room murmuring angrily.She packed my clothes and everything in a travel bag , and threw it out on the doorstep.

“Mom what are you doing?!”-I said crying.

“It’s all because of your stupid boyfriend, your stupid heart that fell for him.The love of my life is dead because of him, and IT’S ALL YOUR FAULT!!”-she shouted and closed the door in my face.

One night , one hour took from me everything I ever had.I lost my father, my house, my mother, and probably my school too.I’m more of an orphan right now.I called Stacey weeping just to have her convince her parents to sleep over just for a few days.It was the worst day of my life.
