Hello all!
If you haven't noticed, the first 2 and a half chapters were written when I was a teenager.
I am really trying to save this book without changing any of the beginning (cringey) parts.
I understand that there is some slut-shaming and acknowledge that the way women are talked about in the first chapter is somewhat misogynistic.
Since writing the first 2 and a half chapters, I have grown as a person and as a writer.
I will not delete these two and a half chapters because I feel as though it is important to acknowledge the past, remember where you came from, and see how you have grown as a person. However, I am not proud of these chapters. (I am truly embarrassed by them if I'm being honest.)
I hope I inspire people to embrace their teenage cringe and past self, no matter how hard it may be. I'm not saying that you should start a Wattpad so everyone can read the horrid works of literature you produced at the ripe age of 13, but I simply want to make a point that we have all had our low and high points during all our personal journeys— and that we all have the ability to grow and change.
With that being said, I hope the writers and readers on Wattpad can appreciate my growth and development
Please feel free to leave a comment and tell me what you think.
Thanks for reading.
