3rd P.O.V.
as team RWBY travels through the forest following the blood trail it suddenly disappeared.
Ruby: "huh? why did the trail stop? i was hoping to kill some grimm today."
she says while pouting.
Weiss: "ruby being a huntress isn't always killing grimm. you need to be less focused on killing grimm and more focused on why we are here."
weiss as begins to lecture ruby a tree branch that they walked past earlier erupts with a loud SNAP. the girls hastily look back to see the branch they walked past earlier was broke in two pieces. the girls are frightened and ruby jumps into Weiss arms.
Ruby: "WHAT WAS THAT?!?!?!"
Weiss drops ruby and dusts herself off with a small "ow" coming from ruby. Ruby pops back up and looks around at the bushes.
Yang: "I don't know what it is but if its a grimm its gonna get the beatdown of a lifetime"
ruby seemed to have calmed down by nibbling on a cookie she had.
Blake: "I don't think its a grimm."
Ruby, Yang and Weiss look at Blake
Weiss: :and why would you say that?"
Blake looks around at the bushes
Blake: "if it was a grimm, wouldn't it have attacked us already? grimm are not the smartest creatures."
Yang: "oh yeah they do attack first ask questions later"
Weiss: "they seem a lot like you now that i think about it"
Yang: "HEY"
as the two girls begin to argue with a black haired cookie monster trying to stop the fight someone was watching in the distance
Ruby: "guys stop fighting we can fight after we finish this mission!"
yang/weiss: "fine"
Weiss crosses her arms and turns away while yang does the same they begin down the path
Blake: "um guys?"
"what?"
the girls say in unison
Blake: "the blood trail stopped"
Weiss: "what do you mean it just stopped?"
Blake: "like i said it just stopped"
the team look down at the last drip of blood on the ground
as the girls were looking at the blood a shadowey figure was lowley walking up to them.
closer
and closer
and closer
untill......
