SOLIS, CURRENT DAY
To explore the jungle was a grueling task for Rico Rodriguez, sure he explored Panau but it was hardly humid as it is now. As someone who was born in Mexico, Rico lived in Medici all his life. A country located near Italy, recently been freed from fascist oppression of now deceased General Di Ravello. They don't call Rico "Dictator Removal Specialist" just for fun, he knows a thing or two about types of government. The sun was started to beam down hard in the remote village Rico stumbled upon. Any stand of some sort that sold drinks would be convenient about now.
How this all started was Rico removing himself from Garland's weird movie fantasies that she kept spewing out everytime she got a chance to talk to him, not with him. TO him. The lady can talk her mouth off for hours. The awkwardness began when she brought up his life in Medici, including his friends. Rico eyed for a possible exit, inching farther till he reached the back road, grappling his way out. It's very apparent Rico isn't a people's person—well, a Garland person. The small crowds around the village spelled out a friendly atmosphere to the Mexican fighter, kids were running around. Women were chatting and working. Men sat down, either playing card games or just to enjoy company of others.
"Rico come in." A feminine voice called for him through a commlink.
It was Mira, a good friend of Rico. Offered him a chance at knowing of his father and his work in Solis. However, the end result was bittersweet.
"Mira, what's up?" Rico responded, trying to act approachable. He was always told he had quite a problem with that. They can thank Sheldon and to who ever messed with him back on Medici for that.
"Word throughout Solis that Espinosa is planning another "weather incident" near where you are. Black Hand are preparing all around the area." Mira explained. "A Tornado.
"This time I can finally fly into the eye of it. Get Izzy and the others prepared. We have a storm to halt." Rico ordered. "I'll evacuate this village and others close by in the mean time."
"Got it. See you soon." Mira accepted and clicked off.
The last time Rico tried to fly into something, he got blown off course and into a nearby pig farm. Mira scolded him as he went back to her village. But this time, he is confident. He knows a little more about these "weather incidents" that keep happening around the country. If anything, Espinosa is a Di Ravello with a leaf blower and a tall ass glass tower on top of mountains of Illapa. Yet, the face of Ravello still manages to make him uneasy at night.
With the new information pertaining to his father, it should be it easy to forget about the dictator. Yet, it's not with his spiteful face infront of him, the eyes of a killer.
Rico walked to the villages people, warning them about the severe weather that may happen. He gave instructions to neighboring villages that were safe and called for Mira's little cousin and rebels to pick them up.
Many people accepted while others refused. He came across a small table outside a house, the person was sitting there, hat tilted to block out the sun. Rico assumed the person was sleeping however, it seemed the chair was able to rock back and forth.
"Excuse me..I'm Rico Rodriguez. There's reports of severe weather heading this way, several people are on their way to help escort the village. " He explained.
"Rico Rodriguez..? What a name." The person pondered.
Rico was confused. The person was hardly phased by the fact a manufactured tornado was approaching.
