Opposites Always Attract

"Hey there Elleigh" My best friend Dan, waits outside of my house, ready to catch the bus with me to school.

"Hey dan" i said walking outside to meet him.

"you ready for the first day of Year 11?" Dan asked

"Im more ready for the last day of School" Isaid as we ot onto the bus full of teenage girls and boys.

The bus pulled just ouside the school and we made our way to the front gate of Swanwick Hall School.

We stood there staring up at the buildings of the school.

"you ready?" Dan asked

"ready" i breathed.

We walked into our form room where we got given our new timetables.

Me and Dan ended up having the same classes apart from 1 Lesson which was English.
Back in Nursery me and Dan used to be friends, all the way through Junior school and high school. Eventually, we made a never breaking friendship from it and now we are practically siblings. Even Dan's dad was considered more a parent than mine. But don't get me wrong i do love them very much but they were more taken up by work all of the time so i didnt see them often.

After the bell went we headed to our first lesson which was;

1.Maths

2.Spanish

3.Science

4.Music

5.History

We navigated to the maths block and we were both in the room M2. As we walked in the seating plan was on the board and Dan was sat next to me, he was sat next to me in almost all of my lessons because the teachers thought we always worked well together.
We waited for the teacher to make her way to the desk and started taking the register.

"Dan Flint"

"yes miss"

"its Elleigh Miss, and here"

No teacher ever got my name right.

*** now at 4th period-Music***

"hello everyone, welcome back to another year i hope you are all having a nice day so far!" the teacher, Mrs. Reeve said to the class.
"i already know most of you in here, but as you can see we do have some new students. would you please come to the front and introduce yourselves to the class?"

"im Sam" the cocky guy said. "i went to  Leabrook Academy, i hated that place"

"hi, im Ashley" i just transferred schools here"

"Hi, Im Josh, and i moved from Surrey"

"oh really?" Mrs. Reeve said "i was born there"

He had a bit of an accent, his voice was pleasantly deep when he spoke. He saw me too, i could tellbecause his eyes sent a shiver down my spine.

The teacher carried on talking to him about Surrey and Josh peeled his eyes from me back to the teacher.

"thats really interesting, Alright, you three can take a seat now"

They did, Josh taking the chair behind me...
