Honestly speaking, (Name) was concerned for her teammates. Sure, practicing for an hour every day is alright, but she'd probably faint from exhaustion if she was in their place. On her walk to school, a certain orange head seemed to be having trouble with walking. Why did people not think before they act? Gosh, it felt like taking care of a bunch of immature children. Sighing, she decided to go over and help him.

"Hey, Shoyo-kun." The girl patted his back to ease his mind.

"Huh?! Oh... (Name)-chan! W-what are you doing?" Hinata questioningly tilted his head. It wasn't that he disliked her company but it was usually him that went up to her to start off a conversation.

"Tch, idiot. Stop overworking yourself! I know that winning the match means a lot to you... but having your health in top shape is more important." Shoyo felt heat rush up his face. Eek!

Someone actually cared enough to notice.

"Look, I don't usually care about these things. So, be thankful." Grabbing him by his arm to lift him up wasn't that hard. Wow, he's actually pretty light in comparison to what she had thought.

"Uwah! Is this what being tall feels like?"

"Shut up, tangerine..." She felt a small blush make its way up to her face. Darn her caring nature. It just felt nice to help out for some reason.

"Thanks for the lift!"

"Please stop shouting." Her ears were gonna burst soon.

"Oop, sorry!"

"I give up." Nevermind, was it too late to take back past decisions?

Entering the classroom, she strolled up to her seat and took a glance at her seatmate. He was... sleeping? Why did she feel like blaming this on volleyball? Damn that sport.

Knocking on his table to wake him up didn't work so, her last hope would be to bribe him. It sounded stupid but there was a big chance it'd actually work.

"Tobio-kun, I was nice enough to buy you milk with my own money. Please wake up before the teacher gets here!" Whispering lightly she was satisfied to hear a small mumble in return.

Aha! Her genius plan did work after all. "Okay, here's your milk. Sorry, I wasn't sure about whether or not you wanted plain milk so I settled with the safest choice-"

"(Last name)-san."

"Hehehe, at least you're awake now-"

"(Last name)-san."

"Hm, would you like to perhaps-"

"(Last name)-san, would you be kind enough to elaborate on this question?"

"Oh. Um... alkali metals? That's easy. An example of how an equation would be; Sodium + water → sodium hydroxide + hydrogen." (Name) couldn't help but feel embarrassed at her misfortune. Sweatdropping lightly at the teacher's reaction, she hoped that her brain didn't accidentally blurt out the wrong answer.

"That is correct. Good job." The teacher slightly gritted her teeth at the student.

What was the problem with this teacher, clearly she wanted the teenager to answer incorrectly. Gosh, what an annoying teacher.

"Thank y-you... for the milk." Looking to her right, the girl nodded as a response. "It's okay. Don't worry about it."

For the rest of the class, she felt eyes boring into her figure.

Grabbing her bento, the female got up and contemplated between a few choices. Just as she made up her mind, a hand reached out to grab her wrist. "Huh?"

"Tobio-kun is something wrong?" He looked guilty, that much was obvious. Perhaps earlier made him feel the need to apologize.

"I-i'm sorry about you getting caught earlier, it was my fault." She cooed at the sight. (Name) was beginning to feel hungry and that definitely wasn't a good thing. "It's fine! Eh, the teacher dislikes me and that seems pretty clear to everyone else."

"I've gotta go now, sorry!" She rushed off leaving a stunned boy.

"W-wait..."

Tobio couldn't help but feel a wave of disappointment wash over him. It was a good chance at getting close to her but he let it go. The way her (e/c) eyes seemed to lack any enthusiasm whenever someone brought a topic up deemed interesting to him, the boy wanted to find something to talk with her about.

Maybe something they could bond over? She didn't enjoy volleyball. It was easy to see, though admittedly he wasn't the smartest, it didn't take a genius to acknowledge that fact.

(Name) was a difficult individual and hard to understand. No arguments needed to prove that.

The first time she mentioned his volleyball shoes, he genuinely thought it was a thing they could both place under their list of likes. Rather than that, it ended up on her list of dislikes. It took a while, but after analyzing he realized that the only reason the sport was brought up, to begin with, was so that a conversation could possibly start between the two. Tobio felt guilty.

After the fact had come clear to him, he felt saddened. Sure, it felt nice to embrace something he spoke so passionately about but forcing others to engage in a conversation that deemed useless to them was not entertaining. She had been kind enough to endure listening to his rambling whenever they talked, and that made him feel special.

He liked her presence and it was embarrassing but the young Kageyama found himself daydreaming.

His (Hair colored) friend was caring. She didn't like doing it, but it was true. The milk she left on his desk proved that. (Name) made sure to always look out for him and alert him of the teacher entering the classroom and that was what he found endearing. Perhaps in the future, he'd do the same for her.

Though, a specific thing caught onto him. She always had earphones on and since he was next to her, her light humming was easy to hear. She had a nice voice, it wouldn't be a surprise to him if singing was enjoyable for her.

Maybe bringing that into a conversation would be a positive change to the way they're currently progressing as friends.

Tobio found himself spacing out again.

(Name) sprinted away from the classroom and ignored any stares that were headed towards her. She couldn't handle it as well as she hoped. Attention wasn't something that made her feel comfortable, in fact, it was the very opposite. At first, it wasn't bothersome and it was a hope of hers that it'd grow less obvious, but alas not everything works out. It reminded the teenager of her childhood memories.

The way people stared with different intent. It made her feel dislike and discomfort. She knew it shouldn't be a bother but it had a way of making her skin crawl.

It was embarrassing, the reason behind her leaving the black-haired male. Whenever things got too awkward for her, the girl couldn't help but take any chance of getting away. Though it may have been disrespectful to others, somewhere along the way it turned into a mindless habit and that's how the rooftop came to be a usual hangout area.

Slowly tuning out, she let the musical tune take over. With no worries to think about, the young (Last name) found comfort in slowly singing.

Gonna fly high
Spread your wings and leap into the sky
Leave all your worries behind
You can go anywhere that you wanna go
And though you're green, you are free
Your instinct telling you to claw and fight
No matter what lies ahead
Know you can make your, make your dreams all come true
And fly, fly high
Soar into the distant sky

Without realizing, it had slowly become a regular thing for her to do every day. Finding the right lyrics was hard, but occasionally new verses would appear in her mind. It was peaceful and a change in environment.

Of course, the female failed to realize that footsteps had made their way up to where she was residing. Two boys found themselves looking on with amusement.

Oof, I'm starting my school exams soon. So, updates aren't going to be as frequent as usual. :D
