My eyes felt heavy and unwilling to open and with each slow blink, I looked around. I could see stone walls, torches hung against the wall (barely illuminating the cell), a cold breeze from an opening in the wall (a window), the wet floor which I was laying on, and finally a steel bar door. It came to my realization that I was in a prison cell. My body felt like I had been thrown against the floor because everything ached and felt like it was on fire. Not actual fire but that's what it felt like. Did I get arrested? What crime did I commit? So many thoughts were running through my head. I sat up and rested my head on the stone wall. I scoffed. Not even a bed in this cell. I heard a steel door open and voices. The voices were getting closer to my holding place. My eyes squinted when a torch was pointed my direction. There standing before me was a male and a female. The male was wearing a long red and white robe ending at his feet. I couldn't make out his face due to the hood covering his head and face. The female was wearing black leather tight pants, so tight I think her ass will pop right out. She was also wearing a dark green cloth robe with a hood. The robe goes to about mid thighs. Her arms were across her chest. I could see that her skin is pale, her hair a beautiful silver/grey color and her eyes are green.
They stared at me in silent what felt like an eternity. The male cleared his throat. "My name is Alyziran. This here" he gestured to the female, "Is Alyze". Strange, their names are almost similar yet I can sense they are not related. "Why am I here? Where are my brothers?" I asked, getting straight to the point. I had no time to become friendly. I needed to get out and go back to my life. This was all a mistake.
Shh. Be patience my darkness. You'll release me soon.
That voice in my head. It was peaceful yet powerful. I guess my confusion was written on my face because Alyziran spoke again. "Did you hear it? A voice speaking to you? A voice you don't know yet you know you can trust it?". His voice soothing and not much demanding. He was too calm for this situation. Alyze pulled out a set of keys and picked one. I watched as she put the key in the door and twisted the key to the right then pushed the door open. Alyziran walked in while Alyze stood by the door. I managed to gather enough strength to stand up, still leaning against the wall behind me. He pulled off the hood once he got closed to me almost breathing on me. I could see his beautiful golden tan skin, his pink plump lips, his dark brown eyes almost too dark you can't see the pupils, his light brown hair, and his bread. He was breathtaking. He towered over me. I had to tilt my head up to even look at his face. As I continued looking at him, I noticed a scar beginning just above his right eyebrow going down to his eye and ending at the top of his lip. I wonder if he was tortured. "Do you know what you are?" he hissed into my ear. A chilled went down my spine like I would submit to his very words. But then something kicked in me. "Step back" I hissed at him. Alyziran stepped back and looked at me. There was shock and fear in his eyes. I watched as his eyes surveyed every bit of my face.
He turned around and made his way to the door. "Perhaps we will find out in a few days" he said before stepping out my cell. "Once we find your brothers of course". Rage filled my body, my bones, and my blood. "Don't you dare lay a hand on them!" I snapped and made my way to the closed cell door. "I will end you if you harm them". "I'd like to see you try...princess". WIth that, Alyze and Alyziran walked away.
