"Elanor you have no idea how glad I am to see you again." Elanor smiled, "I thought I will be all alone today but instead I actually found an old friend of mine. It actually feels great." Alec gave a nervous smile, "Actually even though you lost your memory I still want to tell you this......I am so sorry Elanor." Elanor frowned, "Why?" After Alec told her everything she kept quite for a minute, "Wow looks like my life was pretty messed up over here. I still can't believe I used to wear a mask everyday in front all the people."
After taking a sip from her chocolate drink she looked at Alec, "You know what. I forgive you. Lets start being friends again. I don't wanna roam around this place like a lost puppy. Mind giving me a tour?" Alec had a huge grin on his face, " Sure why not? After you my lady."
"What happened to Islen? You told me she was also my friend." Alec gave a nervous smile, "We lost connection." She gave him an understanding nod. Suddenly Elanor's phone buzzed. When she looked at it was none other than her boss (Xander text). She bid goodbye to Alec and run to his office. She took a long breathe and knocked at the door, "Sir you asked for me?"
He nodded his head but he was completely focused on typing. "How is your first day going on Ms. White? I believe you explored a little here and there." Elanor was boiling inside because she thought it was something urgent but seems like her boss likes to gossip a lot. She forced a smile on her face, "Yes, sir its going quite well."
He hummed in response, "Miss White why don't you arrange those files in that shelf in alphabetical order. After that you are free to go home because at 7:30 you are going to attend a business ball with me."
Elanor was quite shocked as she didn't expected something like that on her first day. "But sir I am new....I actually don't know...." She was cut in between, "I don't like to repeat myself miss white and my decision is final. I got your file yesterday and I exactly know your address so I will come to pick you up sharp at 7:20."
After doing all the tasks Elanor went back home as she needs to look for a decent dress to wear for the business ball. After searching a lot she found a decent dress which she can actually wear at the ball.

She quickly did her hairstyle and went outside. When she went out she saw her boss was standing outside. When she was about to walk inside she felt something was familiar about all this. As if it happened before. She nodded her head a little and brushed all the thoughts away and got inside the car. On the other hand Xander was holding himself back not to look at her or hold her hand. She looked simple and gorgeous. He wanted to hug her badly but he didn't wanted to startle her. The whole car ride passed with silence.
The whole ball room was decorated with hundreds of flowers. Xander accompanied her for a while introducing her around all people. After sometime he left her alone sitting in one place. Elanor was bored and extremely hungry. Suddenly a waiter came and placed a plate of brownies on the table. She couldn't hold herself anymore as hunger was killing her inside. She gobbled two three brownies. After a while she started to feel hot and dizzy.
She started to walk out of the ball room to get some fresh air. She stumbled a few times but kept walking. A girl like Elanor never touched alcohol or any wine in her life but now the whole case was different. She literally ate a whole plate of brownies which had alcohol in it.
A car was about to hit Elanor from behind when Xander pulled her from the way. "Shit Elanor I left you for few minutes and you got yourself drunk..." He harshly grabbed her face in his hands, "ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL YOURSELF?.......ANSWER ME." Elanor was quite annoyed. Suddenly she harshly grabbed Xander's cheeks out of no where which completely shocked him, "YOU...You ANNOYING creep listen to me carefully....... I never touched alcohol in my life. I was hungry so I ate the sweets from the table. Why is the weather so hot today?.... " She hiccupped.
Xander made her stand still in front of him removing her hands from his face, "What did you eat Elanor?" She hiccupped again, "I.." Xander made her stand still again, "What did you eat?"
Elanor pushed him, "BROWNIES. They were soooooooooooo good. I am in love with them." When she said brownies everything made sense now. Xander chuckled and slapped his forehead in disbelief, "God Elanor..... come on we are leaving." Xander gripped her hand and started to walk but Elanor sat on the road. She looked at him and gave him a pouty smile, "Carry me on your back. I am tired Mr. Knight." Xander couldn't help but smile at her. She looked cute. He picked her up on his back and started walking, "I know you. Don't I Mr. Knight?.......Why are you lying to me?.....Trust me I tried.....I tried a lot to convince myself that I don't know you but my heart is telling me a complete different thing......Please don't make me hate you....I am suffering here can't you see. I am not like those girls.......When you said that indirectly to me.....Two times........I was hurt. I thought I should jump from the elevator." She hugged Xander tight from behind and silently started to cry. After hearing her real thoughts Xander also couldn't help but to cry silently and whispered, "I don't want you to hate me either Elanor. I am so sorry baby."
After reaching his car she was already in deep sleep. He put her on the backseat and tucked her with his coat over her body. While he sat on the front seat to drive back home.
