Today is the day after the death of my second child, first son. We have always held a Family Fun Day the day after we go to the grave and what not. I don't really want to get into it cause it is emotional and I don't want to cry today. We invited most of Issa's family. Lia and Greg (remember them?).
Ma, Lia, Issa's sister and I were in The kitchen getting all the Food. Black people love their food! Well at least I do! We brought it out and we were having a good time! The guys were with the guys the girls with the girls the kids with the kids. Chill. The way I like it. No we didn't leave them in a pool by their selves, their pool is only bout a foot and a half of pool water. OCourse there was times when I thought about if Ishmael was here and things of that sort, but I just pushed it to the back of my mind! I guess Issa realized that I was thinking hard cause he came over!
"Babe! You aight?!"
Sigh. "Yeah... Im fine!"
Sighh. "Really?" I nodded. "You sure?"
Sighhh. "I really j.just don't want to talk about it right now!"
"Bab... Oh! Okay! You gonna have to let it go sometime! You cant keep on holding it in!"
"I just feel like...like if I had done something then he would be here."
"I aint gonna get into this conversation right now because I don't wanna ruin the Family Fun Day!"
He gave me a kiss and walked off.
"Too late for that!" I mumbled.
