"I'd much rather it be you than Darla." He gets this look again, the one he gave me after I hugged him. What does that mean?
Niall:
"Finally! We're here! I hate that bus." Louis says, hopping off the bus steps and landing on the ground. He does a 360 and whistles. "This is a nice area."
"It's downtown," Paul says from
behind me. I look around and see that it does have a oldish vibe. Across from us there's a building called Cain's Ballroom. Do you ballroom dance in there?"I need to eat something. That okay Paul?" Liam asks. Paul gives him the little head bob we've taken to mean okay. "I'll come with you Liam," I say. I'm in need of some good cafe biscuits.
"I don't even know where we are at. Do you think we need any security?" I ask. Liam looks over at me sharply. He knows how I get when I'm around big crowds without security. I feel separated and I'll be swallowed up by scary fans.
"It's alright Ni, I've got you if anything happens. Looks like it's just old people, most girls are at school." He latches onto me anyway, for which I'm grateful. After walking around in circles, we come upon some coffee shop.
Immediately the barista stops what she's doing and her jaw drops. Our secrecy is going to be gone as soon as we turn our backs on her. I always love walking into coffee shops. They've got a nice relaxing feeling. You could start a conversation with anyone in here.
"What can I get y'all?" she whispers. She's a cute girl, blonde hair and green eyes. Little tan and pearly whites.
"I'd like the vanilla bean latte. What do you want Niall?" Liam looks back at me. I can't find any biscuits here...
"Yeah do you have any biscuits here?"
"Biscuits? We don't serve breakfast here?" She looks very confused. I'm confused. How can a coffee shop not have biscuits? That's an important thing to have.
"He means cookies. Have you got any cookies love?" Liam comes to the rescue. Ah, biscuits equal cookies here.
Her face clears and she gets this big smile. "Of course I've got some cookies. Which kind would you like?" She flutters her eyelashes at me."Sugar please." Sugar cookies always reminds me home. It's a feeling I like to remind myself since I never see me mum.
She busies herself with our order but sneakily looks over her back to make sure we're here. Yes, barista, we are still here. She gives us our order and asks for a autograph. I sign the receipt and send her on her happy way.
We leave and walk around the area, taking the one opportunity to get to know our area when there isn't any screaming girls. This downtown city has its charm. There's an enormous building that could reach the stars. The top is coloured a mint green, the afternoon sun casting it a darker shade.
"Take my picture in front of this building. I'll post it on Instagram." Liam takes my phone and walks a long ways back and pauses, then starts walking towards me again. "Here you are," I post it on Instagram and little orange hearts are filling my screen.
"Now what Li?" I don't want to go back but I'm also a little tired. "We could go back now, more people are around." I look around and see that he's right, more parent people are out. We walk back to see Harry surrounded by a small group of girls.
"Harry please sign this!" a fan pushes her way to right on top of him and has her camera out. While he's signing and cameras are clicking, someone looks back and sees Liam and I. Shite.
There's no way we could run away, that would make a scene. I take a deep breath and smile, groaning when I hear sounds of girls screaming.
(it's getting closer to Niall and Etta meeting!!! But also, let's not forget Harry and the rest of the boys ;-)
