"w-what was that?" seonghwa asks as he grabs ahold of the handles of jimin's wheelchair, starting to push him.
"what was what?"
"introducing me as your boyfriend to that guy."
"oh," jimin says quietly. "just go along with it please."
"i-i will," seonghwa assures, "but you could've just told him i was your friend or something."
jimin shakes his head. "no."
"why-"
"i'll explain later, seonghwa. let's go to class now."
--
"i never knew the park jimin would ever have a boyfriend."
"isn't his 'boyfriend' a bit too young for him?"
"how old is his boyfriend?"
"rumor has it that his boyfriend is fourteen."
"damn, that's young. jimin's barely eighteen."
yoongi hears all these rumors as he walks toward the cafeteria. he keeps his head down, annoyed at all the conversations he's hearing. he doesn't want to believe jimin has a boyfriend, but why doesn't he want to believe it? does he have feelings for jimin? hell no. then what is it?
yoongi sighs in frustration to himself, and soon arrives at the lunch table where he and his other friends sit. he sits down next to lisa, placing his bag next to him.
"hey, oppa," one of the girls, hirai momo, greets as she leans back against her boyfriend, kim heechul.
"hey," yoongi mutters.
"you're not going to get lunch?" another, ahn hye-jin a.k.a. hwasa, asks.
yoongi shakes his head. "no."
lee sunmi raises an eyebrow. "why not? you always do."
mark gasps as he realizes what might be going on with yoongi. "is it because of all the rumors about jimin and the new kid?"
"no," yoongi scoffs, giving mark a bizarre look. "why do you think that?"
kim namjoon shrugs. "you seem to have a crush on him."
surprising even himself, yoongi gags. "that weirdo? ew, no. i'd rather date hwasa than date a loser like him."
if only yoongi knew who was listening to their conversation nearby.
