IRIS'S P.O.V.
I shrieked. My father was standing right there, in the hallway, with his sword unsheathed. He held his battle stance, on a crystal, as if he was posing for a portrait.
"Nothing!" I said quickly, wanting to avoid all suspicion as much as possible.
Talia sighed, but back me up, not wanting to get in trouble with "O' High One".
My father didn't back down from his question, but sheathed his sword, which made me relax. I knew that Lev was in the other hallway, probably playing with a small crystal. I let out a huge breath that I was holding for about 15 seconds.
My father left the hallway, but that didn't stop his feet from stomping.
Talia turned and looked at me.
"Iris!" she chided, annoyed.
"I know." I gave in. "I'll stop this, and we can save Nate."
"Crystal Crinix!" she commanded the wall, and it shook.
I texted Auriana that we were going back to Earth, and she was here in a ribbon of orange sparkles. She yelped giddily and hopped through the wall.
I rolled my eyes, but Talia looked straight at the wall and walked through. I heard Lev round the corner, and ran inside. I heard,
"Iris?"
Leaving, I wiped away a tear.
