What it Means to be a Hero

Izuku began to walk towards the entrance to the arena with his match starting soon. As he did, a giant man with flames coming out of his body. "Endeavor. Nice to meet you." Izuku calmly said this for the number 2 pro hero to glance down and scowl at Izuku. "You're that kid with those idiotic tricks up your sleeve." 'He's just getting under your skin, ignore it.' "From what I've seen, you have a quirk similar to All Might's. You'll be the perfect testing subject for my masterpiece. So long as he gets rid of this rebellious phase of his," This comment angered Izuku understanding that the flame hero was actually a root problem of why Todoroki chooses to deny himself. "Seems the apple doesn't fall far from the tree with you and him." "Excuse me?" "The amount of hot air you both blow out is enough that I'd rather shut the both of you up just to stop a global warming issue." Endeavor was about to turn and grab Izuku, but Butters turned into a tiger to stand between them. "Wanna try him? I'm sure he doesn't take you trying to hurt his master."

The young witch-doctor kept walking away while smirking. "I may have a power like All Might, but I'm not him. The same goes for Todoroki and you. So stop treating him like some kind of item and just accept things as they are right now." Endeavor glared down the small boy before walking away. Butters returned back to his funsize form to walk near Izuku. "What do you have in mind for helping him?" "Let's just say, he won't have the chance to refuse himself if things go the way they should." The two walked into the area for Mic to start shouting. "ALRIGHT FOLKS, TIME FOR THE FIRST MATCH OF THE SECOND ROUND! ON MY LEFT, WE'VE GOT THE LITTLE WITCH DOCTOR HIMSELF! CLASS A'S IZUKU MIDORIYA! AND ON MY LEFT, HE'S THE SON OF THE NUMBER 2 PRO HERO! ALSO FROM CLASS A, SHOTO TODOROKI!" Izuku looked down at Butters and spoke through a telepathic connection he has. "Stay back until I say anything." The cat nodded to sit near the edge of the ring to watch. "BEGIN!"

Without any warning, Todoroki shot a wave of ice at Izuku for him to cover his hand in shadows. "SMASH!" He sent a finger flick to the ice for it to shatter and the shadows on the fingers being ripped off with some sting being on the finger itself. 'So it worked for the majority. Using my shadows to cover my limb to absorb the shock so when I abandoned my restraint was able to make the chances of my bones breaking to a minimum. It still stings, but it's better than the bone breaking. The question is, when will it be too much?' Todoroki shot another barrage of ice at Izuku for the same attack to happen with the same outcomes. 'That one hurt more than before.' Todoroki shot one final blast for this time the attack Izuku made being able to break the finger he was using. 'That's three now. So that means I can use the same attack on a single finger up to three times until I can't anymore. That means I can use up to 27 attacks before I'm in trouble. I can do this.' Izuku noticed Todoroki start changing up his tactics a bit to come close towards him to counter with another blast to shatter the ice and force the bicolored teen to make a wall of defense.

"Just what do you plan to accomplish Todoroki? You're holding back for yourself and only yourself. Stop going the stubborn route and use what you're gifted with!" Todoroki got up to use another blast of ice for Izuku to open a vile and pour it on him. "THIS IS INSANE FOLKS!" The ice hit Izuku, but for some reason, steam was being produced to surprise everyone. "YOU FEELING A WARM SPOT AIZAWA!?" "Knowing Midoriya, he's got something brewing inside him." A hole of green fire came out from the ice and started walking towards Izuku. This somewhat surprised everyone for Todoroki to question. "Just what did you do?" "It's a flame coating potion. For a total of 10 minutes, whatever has this potion on it and is exposed to room temperature will reach flames as high as 600 degrees celsius. Any ice you try to use will instantly vaporize." The temperature was starting to get to everyone in the stadium a bit as they were sweating from the heat.

"Jeez, what exactly is Midoriya's skin made of?" Kirishima asked as he begins to pant for air. Some of the drinks the class had were either evaporating, or the entire cup was melting as a whole from the heat. "That's a dangerous potion Izuku used. From what I've learned of it, Izuku would never use it unless he had no other choice. Since he's doused himself in it, he is unaffected but everything and everyone else is a different story. That is Alchemist's Fire." "CAN SOMEONE TURN ON AN AC PLEASE!" Ashido shouted as some of the empty seats started to catch fire. "JUST HOW HOT IS THIS RIGHT NOW!?" "From what I can assume Kaminari, his flames are equivalent to ones reaching that of heat even Endeavor can't control completely. For now, I don't think the stadium could manage for much longer." "Holy fuck... It's like being in a crucible." "You can say that again, we're in a god damn forge out here." Kirishima and Sero comment, Suddenly Kirishima's shirt starts to singe off of him. "Crap! This is too much!" "Quickly, ditch the clothes! I'm going to make something to withstand the heat. The cotton in your sports uniform is going to ignite." "If Yaomomo is telling me to strip then I'm more than ha-AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!" Kaminari says before spontaneously combusting.
