Jay stared down at his phone, his friends staring at the screen also from behind him, "Come on Jay, a dare is a dare, you have to call your number neighbour and ask them on a date" Kai insisted, "Ugh fine" he grumbled before pressing the dial button.
A couple of rings later someone picked up, "Hello? Who is this?" they asked, their voice sounded feminine even with the phone changing the person's voice a bit which make Jay sigh mentally in relief, glad he didn't have to date a boy as much as he supported LGBTQ+. "Hello, you are my number neighbour and I was wondering if. You. Wanted. To. Go. On. A. Date" he started pausing from embarrassment during the call, "Sure, what time" they respond, "Um, how about tonight at 6," Jay decided, "Sure, wanna go to Skylor's Noodle House?" They asked, "Sure, I love that place" Jay smiles, "Then it is settled, Noodle House at 6, see you then Number Neighbour" they then hang up letting Jay let go of the breath he didn't know he was holding.
Jay then turned to the others who looked shocked that it worked, "That went better than expected" Cole managed to say "I agree, the percentage of Jay failing was around 89.73%" Zane added, "Not helping Zane" Jay mumbled.
"I better get ready, it is almost 5 now," Jay told them while getting off of the couch.

Jay stood in front of the Noodle shop, he was nervously shaking worried that Nya would do something to him if she found out, but then again he could always blame the others. Taking a deep breath he walked through the door and up to the table labelled "reserved" and had his name on it.
He took a seat and waited a couple of minutes before the door opened again, he looked up to see Nya walking in with a kimono making his eyes go wide. "Nya? What are you doing here?" he asked when she walked up to him, "I was asked to go on a date by some guy" she smirked, "Who is he?" he asked a bit worried that she doesn't like him anymore, "he is really cute, has the best jokes, never knows when to stop talking, he loves the colour blue" she smirked at Jay when his face came to realization, "Wait a minute, that sounds like me," he said making her nod, "Wait if that's true then- You're my number neighbour?!" he asked making her laugh, "Correct Jay" she managed to say through her laugh.
"Since when did you change your phone number?" he asked, "I accidentally broke my phone on a mission so I had to get a new one, I'm surprised that none of you has noticed yet," he told him making him feel a bit guilty for not noticing his girlfriend's voice over the call.
Nya sat down at the table and they spent the next few hours just chatting away, eating, and just having a good time.
A/N: I hope this wasn't too short, I've been planning it for a long time that I even created a cover for it but I never wrote it so I used this as an excuse to write it
