Jaemin:
Renjun's on his way to pick me up to go to the party. I just wanted to let you know.

Jeno:
Okay.

Jeno:
I don't mean to be overprotective, but can you text me every other hour so I can know you're alright?

Jaemin:
Every other hour? How long do you think I'm gonna be there?

Jeno:
Well I don't know.

Jaemin:
XD sure I'll text you every hour.

Jeno:
Okay. At least attempt to have fun. Don't drink too much.

Jaemin:
I don't drink

Jeno:
Well don't give into peer pressure.

Jaemin:
I won't. Bye bye.

Jeno:
Bye

Jaemin put his phone in his pocket before getting in the passenger's seat.

"Why didn't one of you sit here?" He asked Jisung and Chenle who were sitting in the backseat.

"You know Renjun," Chenle said. "The oldest always sits up front." He mocked his friend and Renjun glared at him through the rear view mirror.

"Anyways," Renjun started as he began driving. "You dressed up?"

Jaemin nodded. He was wearing all black. A black button up, black jeans, black shoes. He also had on cat ears and had whiskers drawn on his face.

"Did you tell Jeno you're going to a college party dressed as a sl*tty cat?" Jisung asked after noticing that the top two buttons of Jaemin's shirt were undone.

The boy blushed and shook his head. "No, no I didn't tell Jeno. It seems as if he was already worried about me going to this thing in the first place. And all he was talking about was me being careful. So this probably would've made him ask me not to go."

Jisung nodded and groaned when Chenle gasped excitedly.

"You guys are so perfect for each other! Ugh!" He yelled out in frustration, confusing the other three. "I want a boyfriend! Jis-"

"No," Jisung replied, staring out the window.

Jaemin started laughing and Renjun couldn't help but chuckle a little bit.

"You'll find love someday. Just focus on more important things right now," Renjun said to Chenle. "You too." He aimed his words at Jaemin who furrowed his eyebrows.

"What do you mean?"

"Don't let Jeno distract you from other important things. He isn't the only person in your life you know."

Jaemin looked at Renjun and sighed. The boy looked slightly upset and it broke Jaemin's heart. Had he been putting too much of his time into Jeno that he stopped talking to his own best friends that often? He hadn't thought about it before.

Was Renjun jealous?
