The USS Indianapolis was a US ship that Japan sunk... 12:14 AM July.30,1945 A Japanese Submarine in the Philippine sea fired 2 torpedoes at the USS Indianapolis. It sank in 12 minutes. Of the 1,196 approximately 300 went down with the ship. The remaining 900 men were left in shark infested waters with no food nor water. 4 days later only 316 men remain.
