With the morning of the 4th day most of the men were ready to give up and just kill themselves. A plane had passed a bunch had but that one spotted them and gave them survival gear 3 men made it to the raft and came back for 1 man then more men came till 9 were on the raft. The men all began to fall asleep...

Around midnight there was a light shining off the bottom of the sky and the men knew they were saved. All the men were so glad to get out of the water yelling "we're saved, we're saved". After 4 days and nights out in the middle of the Philippine sea the crew men were finally leaving

They finally left yeah but it's hard to think that 1,196 went on and only around 300 came off
