The Birth

Charlotte's POV:

I heard mum, aunt Rosalie and aunt Alice talking about baby names. I was upset because they were only talking about one baby name. Didn't they know that there were two of us? I turned my head to my sister.

"I need to get out. There's not enough space for me anymore!" She told me through our mind link. She started to kick her way out when I heard mummy scream in pain.

"NO! STOP! You're hurting mummy. Please stop!" No matter what I said to her, she wouldn't stop.

Time skip
Me and Renesmee have been born, but for some reason no one except Aunt Rosalie and Uncle Emmet like me. I think they will be my new mummy and daddy from now on. I haven't been named yet. Renesmee has, obviously. She's the favourite child.

I was in mummy's (Rosalie's) arms staring at her beauty. I decided to send her a message.

"You're very beautiful. Can you and Uncle Emmet be my new mummy and daddy? Apparently my mummy and daddy don't like me."

I watched as she smiled at me like I was what was holding her to the earth.

"Of course me and Emmet will be your new mummy and daddy. We love you lots and lots baby girl."

"What's my name?" I asked her. She looked at the wall for a bit, shouted for 'Em' and then looked back down at me lovingly.

"What are we going to name her Em?" Mummy asked daddy.

"How about, Charlotte Rose Cullen?" Daddy asked mummy whilst staring at me, love evident in his eyes.

"I love it!" I screamed in his mind. When I saw him flinch, I whispered in his mind, "Sorry."

He laughed and whispered back, "It's fine baby girl. I'm glad you like it. What about you Rose?" I looked back at her, and she nodded with tears in her eyes that would never fall.

"Of course I love it. You're my baby girl now, nothing and no one can take you from me."

"Why does Bella and Edward hate me?" I asked in both their minds, showing that it bothered me.

"We don't know baby girl, but I promise you nothing will ever hurt you and if you ever need me, I will always be here. As will daddy." Mummy let her sadness and happiness show in her voice.
