"Okay, are you all ready to get going?" Hope just nodded her head as she grabbed her phone, wallet, and keys.

"Let's head out now! I'm so excited!" I love how excited she gets all the time; it truly is adorable. We head out to stop by to tell my parents we are headed out. It took us about twenty minutes to get downtown. Add about fifteen minutes just to find parking. We got to the door just at six-thirty. Once we stepped inside, Hope grabbed on to my arm and jumped up and down with excitement. She leads us to our seats. She wasn't kidding; we were in the front row.

"I'm going to go get us our drinks and snacks. What do you want?" Hope looked up at me with a focused expression.

"Coke or Pepsi Icee, and just some popcorn." I hummed and started walking towards the stand when I heard Hope call out to me.

"If they have Twizzlers, can you get me some?" I turned around, chuckling.

"Yeah, I've got you." Luckily they had everything she wanted. I just opted for a coke, and I got a medium popcorn for us to share. As I walk back and Hope comes into view, I notice she's not alone. She also looks very uncomfortable.

"Hey baby, I got our stuff." I sat our stuff down then turned towards the middle-aged man.

"Can I help you?" I question with a slightly harsh tone.

"Yes, I was telling you how gorgeous your girlfriend is here." I can see his lustful gaze as he looks over to Hope.

"Well, don't next time. Okay, bud." I say, standing my full height of five feet nine inches, which was the same as his. We were eye level now. This didn't seem to phase him or make him angry.

"Feisty. If you two ever want to join me in the bedroom, I'll give y'all a warm welcome." I start walking closer towards him when I feel Hope pull me back.

"He's not worth it. Just ignore him." She said, trying to soothe me. It calmed me down just a little bit. I started to sit in my chair next to Hope when this disgusting pig decided to speak again.

"That's right, sit down. So tame." His voice was laced with desire.

"If you don't shut the hell up and leave us alone, I will take further measures, and you won't like them," I got face to face with him, clenching my fists. Finally, a big man, who I assume is some type of security guard, walks over and intervenes.

"Is there a problem here?" He directed the question to me.

"Yes, this pig keeps harassing my girlfriend and me," I say, seething, not looking away from the man to look at the security guard.

"Sir, I'm going to need you to go to your seat now. The fight will start soon." The guy just holds up his hands, retreating back to wherever his seat is. I thank the security guard and sit down next to Hope. I put my arm around her, bringing her closer to me.

"I'm sorry I wasn't here from the beginning. I should have never left you alone." I say it, feeling really bad. She looked up at me and began to shake her head no.

"Don't apologize. You had no idea that was going to happen; besides, you came to my rescue just in time. Thank you for that." I pulled her a little closer, kissing the top of her head.

"Anytime, Hope, anytime." The lights dimmed at that moment, and the announcer introduced both boxers. The crowd was going crazy. They were beasts. They got to the fourth round when one of the guys spun around, kicking the other guy so hard in the face. We were so close you could see the sweat and blood fly off of the guy's body. This guy was knocked out cold. The crowd went wild with cheers.

"Holy shit!" Hope said with her mouth wide open and eyes so wide.

"I didn't know you, cussed?" She didn't look my way at all.

"Did you see that?" She completely dismissed my question. I'll let it slide for now.

"Yeah, that was crazy!" I said, agreeing with her. I grabbed her hand, leading her towards the door. She was still in a daze. I threw our trash away right before we got outside. We were almost to my car when I felt a hard smack on my ass. I spun around so quickly.

"What the fuck!" I locked my eyes on to the man who was harassing us earlier.

"Sorry. You've just got a really nice ass; I just had to touch it." I was walking towards him, about to punch this man, when I felt a tug back. Hope then went around me and punched this guy so hard in the nose he dropped to the ground profusely bleeding. It was now my turn to be wide-eyed and mouth agape.

"Holy shit. Hope. You just punched that guy. He's not moving; I think you knocked him out." She looks back at me and smirks.

"I learned a thing or two watching that match." She says, brushing imaginary dirt off her shoulder. Right when she did that, she shook her hand out in pain.

"Here, let me see it." I inspected her hand closely. It was swollen and bruising.

"You got him good. Can you move your fingers, and open and close your hand?" She did it all only with some resistance and groans in pain.

"I don't think you broke it. Let's go home, and we can ice your hand. If it gets worse by tomorrow, we'll go to the hospital and get it checked. She nodded her head at this. We went ahead and decided to stay at her house for the night. Once we got there, her parents were still up, looking like that had been waiting anxiously for her.

"Hey, sweetie. How was it? Are you okay?" Hope shrugged, then held up her hand.

"Yeah, I'm good. It was awesome. I also got to punch a guy in the face!" She exclaimed excitedly. She also said it like it was no big deal. Her parents were just gaping their mouths like fish.

"Oh my god Hope, are you okay? Why did you punch someone" She waved off her mom?

"I'm fine; I just need to ice my hand. It was actually really cool." She said, walking past them into the kitchen to grab an ice pack.

"She punched the guy because he was disgusting and wouldn't stop harassing us." Hope cut me off.

"He smacked her ass, so the only logical thing to do was to punch him in the face. I'm pretty sure I broke his nose. Oh, and I'm also pretty sure I knocked him out." She exclaimed excitedly. Her parents just looked at her incredulously.

"It's true. Your daughter watches one boxing match, and now she's corrupt." Hope laughed loudly in response to my remark. I laughed a little bit too.

"Well, I'm glad you broke his nose." Hope's mom elbows her husband.

"Paul." He looks at her with an oh expression.

"Right. I'm not encouraging violence, but good job!" He went up to Hope and gave her a high five. Hope's mom just laughed and rolled her eyes. Her parents agreed with me, saying that we would go to the hospital if it got worse by morning. As soon as Hope and I hit the bed, we were immediately overcome with sleep.
