"mama where is calix?" I asked when woke up in the four corners of unfamiliar room, my room is not like this.

But my question was ignored, people inside my room panicked

"doc shes awake!" my father called the doctor.

"Elaine you never called me mama but never mind atleast you're awake" mom smiled.

Naguguluhan ako sa mga nangyayari, I saw my father hugging my mother, thats far from impossible.

"bes, omg gising na you huhu" a girl went inside in my room and hugged me. "di mo ba ako nakikilala? Ako to si Kiannah, best friend mo since birth huhu"

Like what the hell is happening?

"Elaine you were comatose for 7 months" the doctor said.

huh seven months? Sa pagkakaalam ko madaming ganap jan sa pitong buwan na yan.

The doctor explained everything and went out.

Kinulit kulit naman ako nang babaeng nasa tabi ko, bestfriend ko daw.

After 2 weeks nakalabas na ako and was fully recovered. My parents allowed me to go to school already.

I searched for Gio, Lhea, and Calix but I saw nothing.

Kiannah was with me all the time, she's far from the Kiannah I know.

Medyo madami akong hinabol, I was a college student here.

Months have passed its our graduation already, after the graduation nagkaroon ng handaan sa bahay. My house is bigger than I thought.

That night I couldn't sleep while scrolling in my newsfeed a question caught my attention.

"Do you believe in parallel universe?" I asked and smiled. curious lang haha

"there are no scientific explanations about that" he said and chuckled

"ooh haha" I laughed, the only thing I could do

"but if there is a parallel universe," he smiled and looked at me when the traffic lights turned into red "in that universe, the only girl that I will love is you"

Napangiti ako sa naalala ko.

Days, weeks, and months have passed when everything make sense.

"the destiny played well" I whispered and sighed, halos mabuga ng katabi ko ang kanyang iniinom na kape.

"what the hell Ayesha Elaine naniniwala ka pala sa tadhana? Sa cupido?" She asked and laughed.

"gaga naalala mo yung kwinento ko sayo?" I asked her back, naging mas close na kami nito and I even told her what happened when I was comatose.

"ay si the one that got away mo" she said at binatukan ko siya.

"FOUL" I said and raised my both hands.

Tumawa kami parehas.

"parallel universe" I said and let out a big sigh. "Everything that happened there is super opposite from what's happening here, example there you hate me so much and dito naman were best friends. There Lhea, Gio, and Calix exist but here they don't"

"you're not joking right?" she asked

"gusto mo bang ikwento ko uli sayo simula hanggang dulo?" I asked at umiling siya.

"but girl that was impossible!" she exclaimed.

"I know, I know" I agreed and nodded

We were silent for a while and my eyes twinkled when an idea came inside my mind.

"gusto kong magsulat!" I said while smiling.

Biglang tumayo si Kiannah at nagpunta sa study table ko, what the hell?

Kumuha siya ng papel at ballpen then she gave it to me.

"anong gagawin ko dito?" I asked while looking at her full of confusion.

"diba sabi mo you want to write?" sabi niya at napafacepalm ako.

"I mean I want to write a novel, using laptop duh Kiannah!" I said at tinarayan siya.

"ooh pero anong title?" she asked.

"when in rpw" I said and smiled. "I want to brag to the world that I had the best boyfriend in the different universe but in this book were no longer victims of parallel universe."
