"Really? Mu-Yeong, you have seen Jimin- wait for a second! What was a junior doing on the senior floor? On the footage, you were holding three papers..." the director said, suddenly getting off-topic out of confusion.

"Mr. Kyeong, it was because our teacher didn't print enough work-sheets for everyone, so she asked me to go to print two more copies, but the printer on our floor was broken, so I had to use the one on the senior floor. And yes, I did see Jimin pressing the alarm button." Jihoon smirked as he chose the right person, Mu-Yeong was really good at hiding his feelings, that's why when he plays basketball, he looks really cool. He knows how to cover up his nervousness, he wasn't even sure why the teacher said he should be a reserve. That's also why he was pretty much okay with bribing him; because he deserves to be on the team.

"Alright then, it's two versus one... Jimin can you please admit it? If you just say it now, I won't call your parents and I'll just give you detention for two days. I'm sure Jihoon will be nice enough not to say anything, right Jihoon?" he nodded as he smiled at Jimin, wow, he really had the guts to lie to the director just like that.

"Yes, it was me." Jimin emotionlessly admitted, after all, he also lied to the director's face, by 'admitting' something he didn't do. The director sighed and dismissed Mu-Yeong with Jihoon first, holding back Jimin for a while.

"Jimin why did you do it?" the director asked as he adjusted his glasses.

"I was tired after P.E, we had the running test, so after I went to the toilet, I rested my hand on the wall and accidentally pressed the button. I was scared to admit it, I apologize for lying," he said robotically, giving Mr. Kyeong a little bow. The director scrutinized Jimin gingerly, but Jimin just hurled back complacently, "You can't know if I'm lying, the security camera hasn't caught me doing this act that everyone is considering as much as a 'crime', so dear director..." he paused, so he could take a second to lean closer to the older man's face as he pulled the cap of his hoodie down. "All I'm doing right now is lying... I was sincere when I said I didn't do it but Jihoon did. I don't care if I have to do some stupid cleaning around the school, stay after school and do extra assignments or just stay, doing nothing for a couple of hours... that does not affect me at all. I don't care if Jihoon gets punished either, my goal isn't that and I actually don't have any goal. I'm just stupefied by how clueless and senseless you are, on their side, the nervousness was obvious." when Jimin finished speaking, he leaned back, that onerous smirk not leaving his face. It crept Mr. Kyeong out.

"Wow, you kid know how to play with w-words!" he slightly stuttered as his heart finally downtrended. "Jimin, don't you dare yo try to manipulate me! Your detention will be to make sure that there are enough papers in the printing machine for this whole week and you'll stay after school today for an hour!" he tried to sound strict, but he rather sounded confused by his own feelings since he realized that what he said was quite similar to what Jimin said. "Your first class has already come to an end... you may go to your next period."

"Thank you, Mr. Kyeong." Jimin bowed fo the millionth time, showing respect to a man that lacked trust in his sincerity.

When Jimin was out of the office and had closed the door behind himself, he saw the only person that respects his sincerity waiting for him, looking concerned. Jimin has a cold and stingy personally, but how come when it's Y/N it's as if he's an ice cube being melted by the sun?

A smile escaped his lips as she noticed he was out and ran to hug him."What happened?!? What did Mr. Kyeong say?" she asked, quickly pulling away from him to receive an answer, but he just stared at her, "Come on! Is it something bad?" he shook his head, "Then why aren't you replying? Can you just say something, so I can calm down?"

"It feels nice knowing that you worry about me..." her face softened as she heard his faint voice, "Nothing happened... I got blamed for pressing the alarm button and making the whole school worry. I got some stupid detention stuff. I made the director flustered because I made him realize how much of an idiot he is. I exited the office and saw you. After I saw you, I felt so much better." Y/N punched his chest,

"Don't be so cheesy! But it wasn't you, right? You are a calm person, why would you need useless drama?" Jimin grabbed her hand and started walking to their lockers, so they would not be late for their next class.

"Yes, it was not me, but I know the real culprit." Jimin knew that Y/N was going to say something like, 'Then why didn't you tell the director and expose him?', so he said in advance, "I did. I told the director who's fault it was, but that person had already bribed someone to testify that it was me. I won't tell you who the culprit is because you'd be disappointed in that person, I don't want to play dirty against that person by making you dislike him." at this point, it was pretty obvious who the culprit was, but Y/N was a bit of a mix of a clueless and a really smart person. She isn't good at trivial things, but she's really smart at complex ones.

Jihoon was standing behind a wall near Y/N and Jimin. He listened to the whole conversation, and even though he keeps on making the same mistake, he keeps on not realizing what it is. He still couldn't understand why Jimin kept winning even though he was the looser, he lost just now, he was said to be guilty of the accident.

Yet, he won Y/N.

Where did he go wrong? He asked himself, even though reanalyzing his actions would be pretty much enough to find the answer to his question.
