It was a stormy day when everyone gathered in the graveyard.

Everyone who knew Dick Grayson was here.

Time for the speeches.

Bruce went first.

"When I first saw Dick, he was sad, broken, alone. He needed a home, and that's what I gave him. Then, he began to smile every day. He was so filled with hope and light, and he shared that hope and light with everyone. Dick Grayson may have left this earth, but that hope and light haven't. They are within us, and they will shine as bright as Dick did."

Jason.

"Dick welcomed me when I first entered the Wayne Manor. Back then, everything seemed so fancy and grand, I found it hard to believe that it was my home, that I would be living there. But Dick was there, and he made me feel at home, despite my doubts. I've never really cherished his presence at home, and I deeply regret that now. And I miss him so much, because Wayne Manor was never really my home - he was."

Tim.

"Dick Grayson was my role model. I've always looked up to him, because he was kind, charming, and smart, everything that I never was. And now, he's gone, and he's not coming back. When he died, a part of me died along with him. A part of us died with him. It's because he made us feel loved. It's because we've known him our entire lives. It's because Dick took up so much space in our hearts. And this world will never have another Dick Grayson. No one will ever live up to him, but we will make him proud, because we owe him. We owe our lives to him."

Damian.

"I've always viewed Dick as the annoying older brother. He was all about how I was 'adorable', and how we should put on our seatbelts in the car, etc.. But I was wrong. Dick Grayson was the brother that cared. When we fought with each other, he stopped the family from tearing ourselves apart. Even with Bruce got frustrated, he always smiled. And this family will never be the same again. Gotham Academy will never be the same again. This world will never be the same again, because there will always be a Dick-sized hole in the center of it all. But he's also in our hearts, because all heroes perish someday, but legends never die."

The Team.

"He was our friend. He still is. Because he's inside of us. He always was, and he'll always be. Dick will always be there with us, laughing, smiling, talking. He's here, in our eyes, our minds, our hearts. He's not really gone. We refuse to believe he's gone. We don't believe there was heaven before, but we believe he is watching over us because we don't want to believe he's moved on. No one does. And we will never heal, because Dick took up so much in our lives. We may not heal, but we will pick ourselves up from the ground and strive. Because Dick Grayson will be with us here." They tapped their chests.

Alfred.

"If you think Dick Grayson is a spoiled brat, you're 100% wrong about that. He was caring and he was charming, and he never left anyone behind. A tree will die, but its seeds will scatter everywhere, and eventually, those seeds will grow. Dick may have fallen off the face of this earth, but parts of him will plant themselves in our hearts, and eventually, those parts will bloom. Dick Grayson will grow again."

Everyone placed a rose on Dick's coffin, and tears streamed down their faces as they watched him get buried six feet under.
