3. red frock

Melodic giggles of a young lady probably six or seven, walking beside a man. With the clean, ironed, well washed white shirt and brown pants with polished boots he looked rich. His well kept hair and beard were presentable. The young lady with him, red frock with cream coloured hat. She was beautiful that was for sure. She was holding the middle aged man's pointing finger. A beautiful smile tugged on her lips.

" Father! I want to visit the new circus. " said the young lady, with that sweet voice of hers.

" Umm...... OK. But before that you have to give me something... And yeah don't forget a promise. " The man replied with a small smile tugged on his lips. His deep voice reminded Elverin of her father but the sweetness was so foreign for her to be her father's.

" O, no, no, no, father.... " she filled her lungs with oxygen and said " you always.. always do this. "

" Then I think I am busy this weekend. " he said with a knowing smile as he looked at his daughter with the corner of his eyes. Like he knew something no-one does, not even his daughter.

The young lady's smile fell for she did not got what she wanted. She pouted as she folded her hands over her chest and stood on her spot without moving an inch. The man's smile grew like he was expecting something like this. He lifted his pants a little and knelt down to reach her eye level. Cupping her face in his hands, smile never leaving his face, he said " Come on princess, if you want something you should return the favour too. This is a sign of a fine young lady."

The young lady looked at her father. Love and care evident in his eyes. Her smile returned to her face.

" You think I'm a fine young lady? " she asked.

"Not, if you will not fulfill my wish. I mean return the favour. "

For a minute she thought something, pouting her lips. She looked at her nails blowing something that was never there.

"OK! " she said "tell me what do you want."

" Okey, princess Jane. I want my return gift to be a kiss and a promise that you will complete your homeworks on time." he said.

The you lady, whose name is Jane kissed her father's cheek. With a serious look on her face she said " I promise to complete my homeworks on time. "

The man showed his teeth, smile turned into a grin. His kissed her and stood up to his full height ,showing his forefinger for her to hold.

" Let's go. We'll go to circus this weekend. " was all he said as Jane started jumping holding his finger.

" But father? "

"Hmm...."

"You asked for two things for my one wish. " Jane said.

" Hmm.... Then it seems like I have to complete one more wish. Umm.. What about a candy for your sweet kiss?"

"Yay!!!"

And soon they disappeared in a candy  shop.
