Another day...

I remained staring out the window even though I've already heard the sound of my alarm. I didn't turn it off, instead I waited for the 6th beep until I finally got out of bed.

"ahh! If I could just sleep all day!" I said aloud as I stretched out of bed.

Even though my eyes are slowly closing again, i just went straight to the bathroom and had a cold shower to awaken my self.

After taking a cold shower, I went to my table where the things that I need for today are prepared and Organized.
They're perfectly organized as I want them to be, my clothes are neatly folded while my things are perfectly aligned to each other.

I smiled. Perfect.

I need to look presentable sa first day namin not like anyone cares but that's how your life is when your parents have high expectations for you.

I stood up in front of the mirror while fixing the cuff of my shirt.

Don't be a failure this time, Caliban.

I sighed before taking my bag and got ready to leave.

My dad greeted me, as usual he reeks of alcohol.

"You've got letters." He said with a grin on his face as he handed me the letters. I took the letters without even double checking it dahil sa mga stickers palang ay alam ko na kung kanino galing ang mga ito.

"Why don't you just reply back and tell her what you really feel Aiden?" He raised both of his brows as he stared at me waiting for an answer. It's what he always do when he's drunk.

"I need to go Dad, I'll be late for class." Paalam ko saka tinalikuran na siya. His eyes widened, clearly not expecting that kind of response.

"Hey! You haven't answered my question yet!" He shouted. Narinig ko pang sinigawan siya ni Mom dahil halos mangunot na ang noo mo sa amoy ng alak na umaalingasaw sa buong sala namin.

Looks like I'll be going home in an empty house today.

I heaved out a heavy sigh.

Once I graduate, I get to live a peaceful life. So just hang in there a little more.
