Can you call this somnambulance?
Insomnia bites and snaps, tearing up a memory two of an echo. The first, of a vivid length like an unwaking life. Then, the lashing — lasting — occasion when you awake, finally; which one is real. Which time can you reconcile? What fits into a non-disparate tone? You question your own capacity for life and for belief. Whether or not you merely exist. A ham-fisted vassal of breath, and waking. So no you don't sleep you try very hard not to.
