Chapter 4: Magic Lesson Plan

If Eclipsa were asked, she would say that she was beyond shocked at Sabriye's favour. After all, this was a young human girl, from another universe, with strong powers stored in a watch, asking her to teach her how to make her own magic spells. Unpredictable results would be bound to happen.

Eclipsa, recovering from her shock, slowly asked, "Why... would you want to learn that? You have your own powers." Sabriye, scratching the back of her neck sheepishly, explained, "I may have powers but, in some cases, I would need some magic, especially from the Royal Magic Wand."

Eclipsa, who stayed silent for a moment, asked, "Okay, I suppose that's a good reason, but, why ask me of all people? You would've just asked Star or Moon." Sabriye avoided eye contact for a moment, contemplating how to answer her question.

Eventually, she gave her answer, "I didn't ask Star because I don't think she would be able to teach me how to make her own spells. And Moon, because I doubt she would take this as well as you would. Besides, I know you're the one who made that dark spell that was used to kill the Septarians."

She was right, in all the points she gave. Star wouldn't exactly be good at teaching and Moon would most likely reject her request. Plus, Eclipsa was one who invented The Spell of Moon The Undaunted. However, she couldn't help but worry about one thing.

"If you do learn how to invent your own spells, what will happen to you and your powers, then?" That was indeed a good question and neither of them knew the answer to it. No one knew and would never know, unless they try it out. However, there could be possible risks of accidents.

"I guess we can just try it out. Who knows? Maybe the magic I'd use would somehow become a part of my power band. We know unless we give it a try, right?" Sabriye suggested. Eclipsa stayed silent for a moment and eventually came to the conclusion that they could give it a shot.

However, there was another condition. "Alright, I suppose we could give it a chance. But, we must inform everyone else about this, including Moon." Sabriye's onyx gray eyes widened at the last part.

"I know you think she'll disapprove of this. But, she should know about our plans before we act. If she doesn't know, it would cause unnecessary problems for us. And I don't want to be called, "evil," again." Eclipsa briefly explained.

Sabriye looked down in thought. They soon made it their deal and headed out of the Rose Tower to meet up with Moon, Star and Marco. Once they met up with them, they discussed their plan. As expected of Moon, she was doubtful about it.

It took what felt like a half hour negotiating with Moon and finally, she relented, accepting Sabriye's request. Star pulled her wand out of her pocket and handed it over to Sabriye, who slowly took it. She held the handle for a moment after Star let go of it, waiting for the usual change of the wand's form to occur.

Sabriye raised an eyebrow in confusion as the wand didn't change at all. A look similar to hers was plastered on each of everyone else's faces. Star spoke up, "Nothing?" Sabriye shook her head in response as she told her, "No, it's gotta be just like Marco." That rose everyone else's eyebrows, except for Marco.

However, before she could explain any further, Sabriye's hand abruptly rose up in the air as the wand's form finally changed.

Once the transformation was done, Sabriye stayed silent for a second before saying, "Yeah, like that." The group then laid their eyes on her wand and examined it, Star and Sabriye's eyes widened and sparkled in awe.

They looked at each other and Sabriye started fiddling with it. The wand opened like an umbrella as the flat, crystalline shards floated around the tip of the wand very slowly in circles.

Eclipsa then commented, "It's like my wand, although it does have some differences." Sabriye looked at her and responded, "Maybe there's something more to it?" Marco then asked, "Like what?" Sabriye didn't answer but, instead, examined the wand as she hummed softly to herself thoughtfully.

Abruptly, Sabriye impulsively whipped her wand to the side and the crystalline shards floated away from the tip of the wand and stabbed the wall that is at a distance away from the group. They flinched in shock at the sudden move, except for Star and Marco, who shouted, "Woah!"

They stared at Sabriye with wide eyes. When Sabriye faced them and noticed their wide eyes, she immediately said, slightly stuttering from the shock, "I-I just thought it was a good idea to move the wand there! I didn't know that was gonna happen!"

They watched as Sabriye moved the wand again and the shards floated back to the tip of her wand, back to floating very slowly in circles. The group, except Sabriye, looked at the wand and the holder in awe, while the holder herself looked at the wand in awe.

"I guess I was right about it being more than just like an umbrella?" Sabriye spoke up sheepishly. The group looked at each other and nodded with smiles of approval on their faces before turning back to Sabriye. "Well, it seems you will most certainly have those magic lessons," Moon commented with a smile.

Sabriye returned the gesture with extreme delight. "I'm looking forward to having you as my student," Eclipsa said with a bright smile and a wink. Sabriye smirked and responded, "Well, I'm looking forward to having you as my teacher," with her own wink.

Sabriye and Eclipsa chuckled in amusement before heading to a suitable location for Sabriye to learn her magic. That was when she knew things were about to get more interesting and even exciting. However, what dangers will she face?
