Tom started calling Gatsby out over his true identify. He at one point started trying to convince daisy to not go with jay since he claim she doesn't know him well enough. To the point where he mentioned how they all grew up different. Which leads to Gatsby finally cracked. Who ended up on top of tom as if he was about to punch him.
(Aisha pov)
Got tired of watching the men fight over one girl. Thank god I wasn't in twilight. Yay. So now I'm just standing outside the room looking around the place. I suddenly heard someone shout out a
"YOU SHUT UP! SHUT UP! SHUT UP!"
I rush towards the room to find Gatsby on top of tom looking like he was about to punch him.
"Bruh, really. Y'all really bout to fight over blondie here" I said trying to catch my breathe. Gatsby ignored me again and got up looking like he choked out tom and feel bad about it or some. They both begin to slowly stood up dramatically causing tom to chuckled out either from that or the thrill of getting under Gatsby skin.
"My sincere.....my sincerest apologies." He said in a shaking voice looking at everybody in shocked.
"I seem to have....lost my temper"
He said still breathing heavy trying to fix himself back to jay Gatsby instead of James Gatz. Daisy look close to crying as well as the other women.
"That's right Mr.Gatsby. shows us some of those find oxford manners" he said snarkly earning a eye roll from sylvia who somehow came back inside and I flick off a bird from me. Gatsby in a panic walk towards daisy begging her to listen to him as he told her his plans to be with her quietly. Feeling pressured she shouted out
"Please tom, i can't stand it anymore"
Before we left out the room, we being Jay, Daisy and Myself. I murmured out a happy birthday to Nick. Since i remembered Sylvia mentioning his birthday being today well that an the book mention it.
