The Golden Brunette was laying on her bed. Painting her nails to match her orientation outfit. As it was tomorrow. The Minnesota air coming through her window as it was open. It was pretty soothing during the summer. She felt something hard hit the heel of her foot. She turned around. It was a rock. She got out of the bed and went to the window. There were a couple of rocks on her floor. She could only guess who it was. As she peeked her head out the window. It was her charming best friend. "You have the key, you could have just came up here!" Analisse shouted at him. "What's the fun in that?" Raelyn said as the girl released the latched hanging ladder from her window. "One day this ladder is gonna break on you." Analisse advised him. Raelyn sat on her bed. "But until then I'll be taking the ladder." He smiled at the girl with a playful wink. "It's almost 10 at night what are you doing here?" Analisse asked. "Didn't you see the new letter they sent to the both of us?" Raelyn asked. "Who sent us? Last I checked I don't get mail." She asked Raelyn. "The school, smart one." He responded with a playful tone. "I'll check the mail." Analisse told him. She got up and got a jacket. And started climbing out the ladder the boy had just come in through.

"You coming?" She popped her head back in asking him. "But I just got in!" He complained. "Fine. I'll be back in a sec." Her head popped back down as she climbed just a few feet high from the ground and jumped. Her bare feet hit the ground. "Great Idea." She mumbled. And started walking out to her front yard where her mailbox was.

She walked along the side yard and opened the side gate. She kept her head down, careful to not step on something. She walked up to her mailbox. The breeze in her hair. Not too far the sound of actives happening. Skates. The sound of skates. She quickly grabbed her mail. And walked back inside.

She climbed back in through the window. She threw the mail on the bed next to Raelyn. And sat in her chair at her desk. She scooted her chair over to the bed. And grabbed the nicely detailed envelope. "Open it at the same time?" Analisse asked. "No, I think I came here to close them together." He said sarcastically. She reached over her bed to grab a pillow and threw one of them at him. He opened the nicely presented envelope.

He read a bit when the girl waited for a response. She didn't know if she wanted to open hers. The silence was killing her. "Ducks." He said. The girl looked at him puzzled. She opened hers as fast as she could. She skimmed through it. It was an invitation play on the J.V hockey team with the ducks at Eden Hall. Of course they knew who they were seeming they were a team in PeeWees and they played against them.

"I'll only do it if you do it." Analisse said softly to him. His family wasn't always the fondest of them. But she knew Raelyn would do it for hockey. The girl wasn't always about hockey. But when your best friends with the Riley's whom lives next door. Live's revolve around it. Really drags you into it. Even if it's just for the Winter league. Really she spent her childhood being best friends and next door neighbors to them. Though she'd rather spend her time figure skating. They were her brothers. Best friends. Their family is like her second one. Though, she never had her actual mom around. Since, according to her dad she left with the long lost brother her dad will never get over. Her dad wasn't the best at being at home all the time. But it was always good enough for her. Her dad did eventually remarried when she was 8. But she always envied Raelyn and Rick for having their biological parents there all the time. Their family were amazing people to top it all off. But they just aren't like that with other people. Rick was more of his dad's child while Raelyn was more of his mothers. Though Rick didn't always act the nicest at school for the person he was. But she could only dream about having a twin brother that would never be.

"Welp. I guess we're going to be spending orientation with them?" He asked after the relevantly long pause of silence. "Great enough. Now get out I want to sleep something." She told him as they both laughed.
