I got out of my car and walked to the front door of corpses house, I couldn't believe he had actually agreed to let me come over. He opened the door with a shy smile on his face.

"Welcome to my humble aboad." He laughed, and I bit my bottom lip to hide my smile. "It's cute." I replied.

I brushed my hair to the side as I walked inside the house, looking around. He had a really nice home. I honestly thought it would be messy and gross but it was actually very neat and tidy. He had a a comfy, dark sofa and pictures on the walls and a soft carpet on the floor. The room looked like a dream.

I hadn't even realised that my jaw was basically on the floor

I hadn't even realised that my jaw was basically on the floor. "Are you okay?" Corpse asked. "You look like you've seen a ghost." He continued. "No I just really like you house." I laughed in reply.

In my experience, a house shows a lot about a persons personality so this whole room only told me good things about corpse.

"So have you got the movie?" I asked excitedly, putting my purse down on the floor. I walked around the room, continuing to examine everything that was in sight. The living room was connected to a kitchen and dining room and I notice his bedroom was closebye. He lived in a fairly large apartment but the theme of those dark colours remained throughout all the rooms that I had the chance to peek in.

"I have to do something, I ll be right back." Corpse suddenly said and I nodded.

5 minutes later he emerged with a big, white, fluffy blanket which he threw at me. "Hey!" I yelled in suprise because the blanket was now on top of my head and everything had gone dark. I could hear his contagious laugh and smiled as I rolled my eyes.

I pulled the fuzzy blanket off my head and wrapped it around me instead. I flopped onto the couch and followed corpses tall body with my eyes. He slid a disk into his DVD player and turned on his tv before turning around and joining me on the couch. His arse landed right next to mine and the whole cushioning of the couch shook because he flopped down so hard. I was laughing and trying to roll myself and the blanket away from him but he just moved closer. He tugged on the blanket and pulled it towards himself until I finally gave in and shared some of it with him.

I'd never have imagined that I would be sitting only 2cm away from corpse on his long, black couch with a massive fuzzy blanket draped over our shoulders.

But here we were.

The movie began and already 10 minutes into the movie I was terrified, I really couldn't say why I wanted to watch 'It' in the first place but for some reason I did. Clearly I wasn't the only one scared of horror movies though. I looked beside me to see Corpse  about to jump off the sofa every time a jump scare happened. It was honestly kind of cute, but I'd make sure he would never know that.

"You must be thankful I wasn't there to watch the second one with you." I laughed as corpse's body shook at a jump scare.

"Shutup this one is scarier." I rolled my eyes and then heard a loud bang and screamed. For some reason I instinctively grabbed corpse.
"Shit!" I yelled. I looked over to the TV and realised it was just the movie.

"Maybe you should be thankful I wasn't there to watch it with you." Corpse smirked at me, looking down.

I realised I was still holding onto him for dear life and let him go.

Fuck was this embarrassing.

"Shush, I wasnt ready for that one, it's not my fault." I said and Corpse just rolled his eyes.

"Right." He replied sarcastically before turning back to face the screen and watch the movie again but I just stared at him.
