corpse pulled my hand around the lake, spinning us in circles as we went. We were both laughing and smiling as we were about to lose balance. I yelled when we spun so fast I thought we would topple over each other.

"This isn't dancing!" I yelled in excitement as we began to slow down our spinning. When we finally stood still it took us at least two minutes to regain our focus. I had to put out my hands to balance myself because I was scared I would trip over my own to feet. Luckily I was quickly able to get my focus back and look at corpse, I started to laugh because that idiot really just spun me so hard it felt like I was going to be thrown into the lake. My hair was absolutely drenched and I didn't have a care in the world that it was still raining.

I looked down at my hands to see one of corpse rings in my palm. I may have taken it from him when we were spinning around. I decided it was my favourite ring of his and I wanted a little keepsake.

"Well I guess we need music to dance." I heard corpses voice say. I was breathing heavily trying to catch my breath with a smile on my face. Corpse pulled out his phone and 15 seconds later a song started playing.

40 days and 40 nights
I waited for a girl like you to come and save my life

It was 'Out of my League' by Fitz and the Tantrums.

I saw a smile emerge on corpse face. A sunshine smile. A real smile. He was genuinely happy. He turned the volume of his phone all the way up so that it could be heard clearly. I loved this song. He started moving his hands and arms to the sounds of the music and eventually his legs were moving too.

He was vibing to the music and I just stood there watching him in awe. I couldn't be happier than I was with him right now.

I don't think corpse even realised I was staring until he looked up and his cheeks went a bit darker, he tried to bite his lip to hide his smile. I wanted him to know that he never had to do that,I loved his smile. He looked cute and I wasn't afraid to admit that anymore.

"Are you just gonna watch?" He asked, still dancing to the music. I ran over to him and grabbed a hold of his hands. I began to shuffle my feet and we jumped around together, letting the song control our bodies without a care in the world. We started singing along as the rain continued to hit our faces, our smiles never leaving us.

"You were out of my league all the things I believe, you were just the right kind, yeah you were more than just a dream." I sang along to corpse as we splashed into the puddles that were forming under our shoes. Our whole bodies were soaked in water and I was loving it.

We dancing horribly together through-out the whole song

We dancing horribly together through-out the whole song. The best part was that neither of us could actually dance so technically we were just jumping up and down but whatever it was, it was perfect.

I had never seen corpse so happy and I wished that I could put this day on replay and keep reliving it forever. We hopped from one leg to the other and ran around the lake, free from the judgement of other people. It was so nice to not have anyone else with us. Just me, Corpse and Fitz and the Tantrums.

Unfortunately the song ended after what felt like the best possible version of a lifetime. We stopped jumping up and down and fell into each other's arms, trying to catch our breathe. We looked into each other's eyes with the biggest smiles on both of our faces and just stared in amazement.

"You are out of my league.." Corpse said quietly, never breaking eye contact or looking away from me. I let out the breathe I didn't know I was holding and leaned in to kiss him. He was hugging my waist and I was hugging his shoulders so there was no space between us.

I only let go when I was out of breathe and let my forehead rest on his chest

I only let go when I was out of breathe and let my forehead rest on his chest. "I forgive you." I whispered into his chest. He hugged me tighter when the words left my mouth and let his head rest on my shoulder. I never wanted to let go of him. "Trust me." I whispered, he should never have to question me enough to want to make me leave his home.

The only noise surrounding us was the sound of raindrops hitting the sound and the world felt so peaceful. Like it was just the two of us.

"I promise." Corpse whispered back.

"You are more than just a dream."
