Rove Life

Part 2

We got home and Wes turned on his iPod. He blasted music as we ate pizza and joked around.

"Hey, when's Miggie's first kiss?" Elsa asks nudging Ryan's shoulder.

"Next episode." I tell her reaching for another piece. I try to take a bite but Ryan moves his head and takes a big bite. "Hey! That was mine! Get your own piece!"

"No can do, princess," Ryan smiles. I roll my eyes and eat the pizza.

The next morning, I wake up in Ryan's bedroom. I guess I stayed here overnight. Oh well. It's not un-normal. I sit up and run to the toilet.

"I don't get it. You were fine last night." Ryan says when I return.

"Me neither." I say.

"I'll call the doctor." Ryan tells me. He gets up and calls the doctor's office. "You have an appointment today during lunch break."

"Oh right! We have set today!" I say.

"And it's Miggie's first kiss." Ryan nudges me. I roll my eyes and give him a quick kiss before running downstairs and seeing Elsa making breakfast.

"Smells great, Els!" I say.

"Thanks. I hope you like breakfast burritos." Elsa says.

"Yummy!" I say as Ryan, Wes, Piper, Austin, Gregg, and Jacob come down. Big family, I know.

"Breakfast burritos!" they all say.

"What do you say?" Elsa asks.

"We love you." they all say simultaneously. Me and Ryan quickly eat breakfast then run to set. I'm wearing Elsa's shorts and t-shirt but I'll give them back tonight sometime. I dress in Liv's wardrobe and the long set day begins.

During lunch break, me and Ryan rush to the doctor's office for the appointment.

"So what seems to be wrong?" Dr. Lila asks.

"I don't usually get sick, so when I woke up yesterday and started throwing up, we kind of figured something was wrong. Then this morning I threw up again." I explain.

"And you felt fine all day other than the morning?" Dr. Lila asks.

"Yup." I answer.

"Hmm. I think I know what's wrong." Dr. Lila says.

"Really?" Me and Ryan say.

"Yup. Dove, go take this and I'll know whether I'm wrong or not." Dr. Lila says handing me a small package. I look at it and it says 'pregnancy test'. What? I go into the bathroom and do what the instructions stay. I go back in and hand it to Dr. Lila. She leaves and we wait for five minutes.

"What was that?" Ryan asks.

"A pregnancy test." I tell him.

"What?!" Ryan asks.

"Okay first of all, calm down." I say. "Second of all, I'm probably not pregnant." Dr. Lila walks in with a poker face.

"I was correct. Dove, you're not sick. You're pregnant." she tells us. What. The. Hell?!

"What?!" both me and Ryan say.

"I'm sorry. I know this could ruin both of your carreers but I think you should tell the directors of Liv and Maddie." Dr. Lila says. Then she leaves.

After a long, encouraging talk with Ryan, we head back to set. We finish the day then Ryan goes to talk with the director about what we found out.

"Hey Dove, why were you at the doctor's office so long?" Emmy asks.

"Because." I shrug.

"But why? What took so long?" Shelly asks.

"They had me take a test." I tell her.

"What kind?" Emmy asks.

"Pregnancy." I mumble.

"What?! What did it say?" both girls ask at the same time.

"Positive." I answer. Then Ryan walks out.

"He's mad. But he should cool off tonight." Ryan tells me.

"Alright. Let's go." I say. We walk out and get in the car. It's a quiet drive to my house. When we get there, we walk inside and see my big sister Claire.

"Hey guys! What's new?" Claire asks.

"Nothing." me and Ryan say quickly.

"Really? Because I just got a phone call from Emmy and she said...." Claire started.

"Dove's pregnant." Ryan blurts. Claire looks surprised.

"What?!" both Claire and my mom say.

"Wait, that's not what Emmy called you about, is it?" Ryan asks.

"No. She said you guys went to the doctor's." Claire says. "She never said why though."

"Dove, is that true?" mom asks.

"Uh, yeah." I say awkwardly.

"Well, I'm upset you would do that. But I guess I understand since the same thing happened with Claire." my mom says. I sigh in relief and they let the subject go. We go on like a normal night and Ryan soon leaves, taking Elsa's clothes home with him.
