I am a star
No matter how much darkness you create around me
I'll keep shinning brightly cause I am a star
Even if I'm surrounded with light
I'm still there
You just can't see me cause the light is blinding
No matter what you throw at me
It won't get me cause I'm too high up
And you know why?
It's cause I'm a star
I'll keep shinning brightly
Day and night
Rain or sunshine
And there's nothing you can do about it
Instead my light will spread to more people
Filling the room with brightness
Until you're the only spec of darkness left
I'll stay strong and mighty
High up in the sky
I won't burn out
Because I am a star and I shine.
